Lying bitch. e^(2*tt) isn´t -1 ... And i don´t even have a calculator nearby!

Faggot anon get it right.

e to the power of i times pi is -1 (where i is the imaginary unit)

I stopped believing in math when they started trying to teach me imaginary numbers

It says e^(i*pi) = -1, and yeah, that is correct, since the imaginary part of the exponent defines the argument in the complex plane, and the real part (here 0) defines the absolute value. Or you could just look at this screenshot of Wolfram Mathematica if you don't believe me.

This guy is right.
Given 1e^(i*pi) means the the number is in the complex plane with a size of 1 and an angle of pi. Which will give us 0 on the imaginary axis and -1 on the real axis.

We can also rewrite it as cos(pi) + isin(pi) (another way to write complex numbers)
We know cos(pi) is -1 and sin(pi) = 0. Leaving us with -1.

I ******* love math
