Rule of thumb, no physical contact. EVER.
Wanna scare them with a huge noise? Great!
Wanna put something (like a toy spider) on their shoulder for when they wake up? Fine!
But never touch them, it could end terribly for the teacher.
**deipotent used "*roll picture*"** **deipotent rolled image**Either every kid there is used to him and this is just another one of his things or his teaching career is about to come to a grinding halt.
yeah... this is disgusting. I would either drop out or have him reported to the schools council after that.
I have long hair and can only imagen the weirdness/grosness I would feel after that...
I'm all for teachers being funny, but that was just creepy and gross. If it were me, I'd have complained to the schoolboard because I don't want anyone's mouth near my hair.
if a student is sleeping in your class, THAT PERSON IS ******* SLEEP DEPRIVED. let them get some ******* sleep theyre not going to keep their attention at class anyway if theyre ******* sleepy.
My college requires that I wake every morning at 0515. We're all tired as **** sitting in class. Everyday. But ya wanna know something? We don't ******* fall asleep. Why? It's a little something called discipline and respect.
So you can sit and make excuses for a chick that you say is "sleep deprived" but in the end it just shows her lack of discipline, respect, and motivation to ******* learn. That's what makes me ******* hate people. When they can't act like a goddamn adult.
i wasn't talking about college, and sure you can function as an adult. but you are going to **** up once or twice. and in that once or twice you **** up and sleep in class you're going to want to be left alone instead of toyed around with.
besides, however someone ***** up, it means they ****** up, not that they have to be punished for it, because they're already being punished for it. you don't necessarily have to punish them for it.
I was never sleep deprived I just didn't give a **** and felt sleep was more important. Did I pass everything but math? yes. Did I sleep in every class I had? Yes, with the exception of gym and vocational school, because well.. You can't.
Then they should be a responsible human being and use their time wisely to ensure a proper night's rest so they don't end up wasting their professor's time.
On one occasion, if it's college, professors dont give a **** about you anyway outside of those few interesting ones - most professors have way too many students to worry about - you are paying them to teach you basically, if you dont want to learn that is not their problem.
However, you have to understand that life for some people is not as easy as you may have it, especially in a college setting. People work late, study late, so on so forth. It's hard at times and some people's bodies give up.
sometimes, some days, people get ****** up. they can't sleep, they've done something wrong, or something wrong has happened to them. who the **** are you to hold that against them...
As someone that slept in all of my classes in high school, I can safely say it was not because I was sleep deprived. I was bored and didn't care about learning the material over and over and over that I already knew. I could pass the tests with flying colors, that should be enough. So I slept because I felt like it. I got Saturday school once and it's where I learned to sleep standing up. They agreed it was a waste to put me there so I never got it again.
