Beardies are wonderful idiots. Here are my two. (They only met this one time for less than a minute, I din't keep them together and they can't see each other from their cages). The big one is Simon and he's 5 years old, the little guy is Hiccup and he/she is about three or four months old? He's a rescue, he's missing half his tail and his back left foot (hence the name) C:
What the other people said lol. My big guy is usually really docile but any time he sees the other one, even if it's across the room, his beard goes black and he starts running around his tank bobbing his head so hard it looks like he's doing push ups.
Yup! You almost wouldn't know the difference. The only time I ever see it really affect him is he gets kinda off balance when he lunges forward at crickets, but he still catches them just fine.
Yes, males bob to show dominance, females initiate a wave with a front leg and the males usually reply with either a bob or wave. pic related, my female Lemon beardy.
