drinking cow's milk is actually considered un-natural. No other animal on the planet drinks another animals milk. However, it does have a lot of calcium in it, and it's a key ingredient in a lot of delicious food. I'm not against milk whatsoever, I just never stopped to think that we're the only animal on the planet that makes a practice out of drinking another animals milk.

No other animals on the planet figured out how to go to space or invented barbecue, either. Not everything unnatural is bad.

Milking doesn't kill cows? I've been doing it wrong this whole time, no wonder I've been losing money.

They seem to not understand the difference between milk and meat. They should try it sometimes.

I guess some people don't understand that in order for an animal to survive, it must predate and eat another organism. Oh well.

Actually drinking cows milk does kill cows, baby cows, cows need to have babies in order to produce milk, which is why if you drink milk (vegetarian or not) you should eat Veal to not be a dick, most meat from baby cows goes to waste since the market for milk outweighs the market for Veal

This reminds me of when someone on FJ (was it you, kanadetenshi? I can't remember) tried to claim that milking cows hurts them when the opposite was true. Many lols were had.

Ok seriously? Do you guys have ANY idea what you are talking about because it seems to me that you just get pissed at vegans to show that you're cool and edgy.

Though I don't really support a vegan lifestyle you can't be so ignorant as to insist that they don't have a point. This image might be annoying but could it honestly be more on-point? Do you even know the cruelty that cows have to go through in order to have such milk production?

As long as the cows are treated with respect and not drained, let alone tormented, to satisfy your capitalistic needs then alright. But that is most definitely not the case when we produce 703,996,079 tonnes per year (i got the number from here, this number corresponds to milk produced by a variety of mammals including camels, goats, sheep and buffalo, the link has more in-depth details: chartsbin.com/view/1492)

Now I'm all for having a cow in your backyard a'ight. Milk that bitch all you want, but until then, it seems fair to me that you don't get to trash talk over stuff like this for no reason when it raises an absolutely legit point. (Ok well you get to do it, but come on... think before you talk or at least do some research first)

So don't act like the milk you're drinking comes from a happy cow leading a healthy life with an occasional contribution to humanity, because that is most likely not true.

RANT

Now this just makes me mad. I hate vegetarians, or whatever these are, who meddle in what other people eat. Seriously, man has been eating and using domesticated animals for 12 000 years - and it was not until we settled down and started doing this that we started to develop and become even more supreme compared to other animals.

I get why they think that animals want to live, but it's farming - and they wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for their meat and milk. And I get the protests if they are living under bad conditions (though I really don't care myself), but in this case it's about cows and milk, and cows need decent conditions and good sanitary conditions (at least compared to many other animals) to produce good milk. I bet those cows lived better than a lot of third world country children. Travel to Africa and help those instead. Your own species.
