Written by a person who thinks the statement "Everything tastes like chicken" includes vegetables because they've never actually eaten chicken. Plus, Cauliflower contains some of the highest non-tobacco levels on nicotine, as well as high levels of sulfur, purines, and non-digestible carbohydrates, which can cause severe gas and gout if you eat it too regularly. You get more vitamins, sure, but far less protein, so I don't really see the statement "Infinitely healthier" as having grounds within reality.

My best friends girlfriend is Vegan and they came to a barbeque knowing full well that I would only be supplying pork, lamb and beef. But she wanted to make a point, I think. She self righteously asks: what are the vegan options?" and smirked. She does this all the time and I have normally told her in advance that she can bring her own vegan food if she wants. But this time I simply replied:

Even if it tasted the same, the texture wouldn't be. Cauliflower is liable to crack your teeth open, I swear it's as hard as a rock.

boy, for people that claim to be against eating animals, they sure do enjoy making products that taste "similar" to meat.

I am vegan. And that is retarded.

Why the **** would you eat vegetables as a meal.

So unsatisfying.

I would rather have a massive dish of baked potato chips, rice curry or pasta.

I don't get all the vegan hate on Fj can't you ******** respect someones lifestyle? Avatar Aang is a vegan and he's a pretty cool guy. Maybe people don't wanna digest life forms with personalities and emotions.

Vegan hate? I don't think it's the hate for the lifestyle. What i do think, it's the hate for the people who rub that **** at non-vegan faces.

>Implying fried cauliflower isn't delicious

Too bad that the unhealthy bit isn't the chicken but the BBQ sauce which is basically 60% sugar.

Cauliflower is amazing raw, cooking usually just ruins it.

Cooked cauliflower actually does have a soft texture if you cook it right. Just make batter for it. Don't whine till you try it. I love making cauliflower pizza with fresh basil and it melts in your mouth.

You should all learn to make vegan food.
Vegan chicks are crazy hot and THEY WILL suck your dick if you make them vegan food without being vegan yourself.

quorn chicken nuggets taste like real ones, but are far healthier (and it's suitable for vegetarians)

I think people should eat what they want and just stop trying to justify their eating habits. If you want to eat unhealthy foods it's up to you and vice versa . But this whole people who eat meat vs people who don't is just silly. I'm a vegetarian and I honestly couldn't care less what you eat as long as you don't try to encourage me to eat a certain way. I've met overly zealous vegans/vegetarians and I've met even more overly zealous meat heads and both have always sounded stupid to me.
tl;dr just let people eat in peace

Aside from all the vegan bashing, cauliflower isstill pretty awesome, raw or cooked, in any sauce.

I find fried cauliflower with lemon juice and minced garlic makes for an excellent sandwich.
