I can never really utilize steam sales because I never what I want...

That's for me like nearly every sale lately.
I own everything I want and buy it cheap from keystores if I don't have it, so sales kinda lost their flavor.

It's mostly because of Steam's new sales model, now that all sales are active from the start, no-one want to release huge offers anymore since the sales are active for so long.
