My guess is he understood the meaninglessness of life, how when he dies he never really existed other than the changes in the universe, when the heat death comes he will literally stop existing. He believed in angles because he tried to push himself to believe there was more to life, but he couldn't do it, he always knew. And killed himself.
Think about how devastated his family is. To cause that much suffering to those around him, especially to the ones that loved him, just so he can quit life is pretty pathetic in my eyes.
yeah i get that. I think suicide is definitely a case by case basis when i think its ok or not. you kill yourself because a girl rejects you or something, thats ******** , but you kill yourself because of long term pain or something (including mental anguish) i think it's more allowed in my books.
its a very philosophical subject, and i don't think theres a right or wrong answer, this is just my opinion.
I see your point. I guess I am just looking at it from my perspective as opposed to the perspective of someone who is actually going through these issues. I doubt that in their state of mind they are going to fully grasp the consequences of their suicide. It isn't really fair to call them pathetic now that I think about it more.
I thought about kiliing myself many times. And I have a okay life. Its just **** gets too real sometimes. I know Angel and demons are real. I still sin, I have yet to turn away and not look back. Weed gives me some help, and I thank god for it. No matter what happens, it could be worse. Everything happens for a reason
well tecnicly existence and life is just a illusion we created for our selves so if the illusion becomes to real its like withdrawl, that or hes high so i mean what hes saying he cant tell the difference too.
I may not be that way all the time, but I truly know the feeling. Hold on to what makes you you, and find something to believe in that is higher than you.
Learning piano takes a lot of concentration and brain power. It's not easy when you first start to move every finger on each hand in different ways and in the exact way necessary. I guess a more powerful brain, like that of a supergenius, would find it easier to do.
Oh, well, I guess so. That would be the general case then.
Though, I have met and seen quite a few people who have high a IQ but can't play the piano for **** .
Uh... what I wrote means that they tried to but weren't able succeed.
The key word here is 'try'.
Which, if I were to turn into a vague (I apologize) phrase/clause, then it would be 'have a high IQ but can't play'.
You should if you have any desire to, even if you've watched the show. Both mediums have their advantages, so I would advise experiencing both. I'm not some book elitist (I actually started watching the show first), so believe me when I say that the books offer you much amazing insight into the character's minds, different (occasionally better) experiences with the characters, and more backstory about the current political climate. The show has advantages in amazing performances, incredible spectacle, and the better usage of some characters (including my favorite character, Robb Stark).
Yeah, I went very in depth with it on two characters specifically in >>#56. That doesn't even include Amory Lorch, Roose Bolton, Walder Frey, Joffrey I, Cersei, Balon Greyjoy, Euron Greyjoy, the Tickler, or half a hundred other characters that are all worse than Walt.
This one is interesting. Apparently his mother thought he was possessed by some sort of supernatural being called Tobias and that his death signaled the departure of Tobias from his earthly body.
>>#82 >>#105
or, he was completely ignorant to the benefits of applying your talents to the world. If he'd had some aspiration to be in a position of responsibility (somewhere where he'd have an effect on the world) or was put in one by his parents maybe he would've realized that anyone can do good for the world when they're willing to put in the effort.
but no, he was weak. instead he chose nothing was worth serving for. Also, googling for gifs is pointless, it's all tumblrified. I wanted to use the gif version of this where its talking about potatoes instead
>>#120 and >>#122 are right
no note or sign of depression. those thigns should still ahve happened if what you say is true. if he was too destrought to write a note, he mustve shown signs of depression beforehand.
That would be a pussy ass thing to do. Big whoop you're not challenged by the other **** people do, he can challenge himself with **** that other people can't do, like all the great minds that don't go and kill themselves, go into science or engineering or some **** and help mankind move forward not off yourself because you're bored of wrecking kids the same age as you
I don't think this is the case. If he killed himself due to a seeming lack of challenge, he clearly couldn't see past his own nose. If he's as smart as this content says, then I doubt he lacked such foresight.
To be so smart that literally nothing challenges you probably means you're a god. I tend to think he wasn't supernatural, so that leaves what could probably be called depression, though in him it may have manifested itself differently than what is popularly considered depression.
We'll likely never know why he killed himself, unless the content is leaving out some crucial detail. It could've simply been an irrational urge to end his life, because that's what depression can do to you, and it can be quite strong at times. Just because he was smart doesn't mean he had the willpower to fight this urge.
Ramsay only shouts at people that actually deserve it.
You don't know how unreasonable some chefs can be one shouted at me because i was 20 minutes early one shouted at me becaause i was 1 minute late, the fact that somebody slashed all 4 of my tires and the guy who gave me a lift missed the exit was not a valid excuse one shouted at me because we had football on the radio, and i was happy because my team scored a goal one shouted at me because a waitress was flirting with me
My boyfriend is a Sous Chef and he has to deal with all this kind of ******** .
His Executive Chef has a seriously bad Napoleon Complex and always makes dumbass decisions and is quite the asshole.
Also he told me the preconceived notion that Chef Gordon Ramsay always swears and belittles his staff is pure TV Fiction as no professional would do that in reality.
Maybe it depends on the country. But i've seen it happen here.
First internship the souce pulled a knife on me, put it on my throat because i tasted a sauce with my finger. i never tasted anything with my finger after that tho on several occasions i've seen that sous taste something with his finger
Does George Martin even read his books? Is he familiar with Ramsay Bolton at all? Although to be fair the tv one seems a million times worse than the book one
he breaks all of theon's teeth with a hammer to the point that he can't eat anything solid. he also cuts off a few of his fingers so he can't hold a sword anymore. he's a lot worse in the books trust.
He did say this, and it's total ******** . Walt only started selling meth to provide for his family after he died, though later he began to enjoy the power trips it gave him, and became increasingly violent and erratic. Really, the worst things Walt was responsible for was murders committed out of necessity. He also offered $80 million to Jack to spare Hank's life. He was a monster by the end, but not even close to the worst in Westeros. Ramsey hunts innocent women with his dogs, then rapes and flays them to death. He forced his second wife to have sex with his dog. His first wife he forcibly married, then locked her in a room to starve to death while she ate her own fingers. His mind games with Theon, and the flaying/castration combination is amongst the most horrific **** shown on TV. But I guess it's not TV, it's HBO. That doesn't even include the Mountain, who raped and murdered Princess Elia with the blood of her infant son still on his hands, who killed a man for snoring, who fed living people to bears, who shoved his brother's face into a fire for playing with one of his toys, and who cut off a man's limbs and forced him to eat them. Westeros has some ****** up people. Walt is certainly a more developed and relatable monster, but not a worse monster.
first one: welp. time to buy kerbal space program, learn some amateur rocketry, and go collecting some asteroids.
or at least cause them to accidently come crashing into the earth, wiping out the population
