I don't know man, I see you making a lot of "joke edgy comments" on random posts. Pretty sure your "ironic" *********** has actually forced you to start coming off as "an edgy cunt"
...When your joke completely contradicts a positive statement you just made as a response to a semi-humorous comment...Then it kind of sucks as a joke.
He will. He influenced who you are today. In that influence, he planted the seeds of his legacy. Through his legacy in you, you will pass that down to your children. His life lessons live on through you. What is life, than a series of lessons?
in a time long ago, when a man and a woman had a child, the woman would take a break from her usual duties to the tribe in order to care for her child, but eventually (when capable) the woman may of had to return to these duties, relieving the care of her child to the elders of the tribe who have far less duties due to their age and physical state.
Nowdays when mum and dad need to get on with work or need time to themselves they look to their elders for assistance once again.
That bitch mother nature has been around for a long time. A hell of a lot longer than us. She's still got a few tricks up her sleeve to rope us back in.
So, story time.
When my step-mother got pregnant, she wanted to surprise my grandmother. They'd found out just before the holidays, so she thought she'd just put her positive pregnancy test in a box as a gift to Grandma. Meh, not bad but not hilarious.
The funny part came when my grandmother opened the gift, looked at it, and then responded, "Is this a turkey thermometer? I've been meaning to get a new one."
There was an awkward, somewhat laughable silence, and then my stepmom had to explain the gift.
Cue excitement and hugs all around.
Then, a few years later she found out she was pregnant again, and so as a bit of an inside joke, she bought my grandmother a turkey thermometer.
Grandma looked at it and got immediately excited, "Another one? You're pregnant again?"
So that's the story of how turkey thermometers became our family's inside "I'm pregnant" joke.
I don't know about that. Im sure they'll be just as excited if you have one as well. It's not a race of who can pump out one the fastest it's about growing up and starting a family of your own.
**Anetheril used "*roll picture*"** **Anetheril rolled image** I'm sad. My dad passed away this year and he'll never know that joy of being a grandparent
HFW girls leave the room. I can't help but notice that either the father is now taking the head of the table or trying to maintain a tables distance away from the grandfather
Probably noise-canceling or some elevator music, I bet, just to cancel out the chance that one of the younger two accidentally say it as they're acting it out
