I fought a level 82 Legendary Deathclaw mother that wiped out an entire squad of brotherhood and the quest I was doing before i hide on the top of a building crying because I had used all my ammo and I couldn't fast travel.
Pssst, there is a bug in their melee, get the 2076 bat and any other melee weapon. You dont need to use the bat and you can launch deathclaws into space. I've been doing it with the unique powerfist
not really airsupport more like vertibird pickup but might help shoot at stuff before landing to pick you up (I never used it by the way they describe it it's either awesome or very lame.)
It shows up after like 2 minutes and lands very slowly, it's not really fast travel as you basically sit there the whole ride, it is however, useful if your overburdened and need to go to a base to drop stuff off plus the vertibird is weak as **** ,
This is ******* true. I fell in love with KLEO because of the design. I assumed KLEO was one of a kind. I had a mission where I had to go to the Croup Mannor to secure its location. On the way there was an assaultron. I thought he'd be some easy tin can. But nope. I got raped. Its beam just destroyed me. Second time around, I just ran, I ran so far away. I let my follower get hurt though.
>Kill Protectron
>Die in explosion
>Fight Sentry Bot while in Power Armor
>Die many times
>Kill Sentry Bot
>Die in explosion
>Fighting Assaultron
>Die by surprise laser beam
The way mobs work in this game, compared to older games is seriously overlooked. Popping each individual eye on a mister gutsy, or the way deathclaws and stuff crawl across the floor with crippled legs - ghouls with literally NO ARMS who will try to headbutt you to death after you've shot them up a bit.
The way crippling and stuff works in this game is great.
Some stuff in it is harder - in the early game it can be difficult to keep up your ammo supply for decent weapons, and you're sort of forced into the curve of using the ****** weapons and ammo raiders and stuff drop, but by the time you get to the major city HUB and do some missions you wind up in a good place, especially if you keep taking scavenging and bartering perks.
All in, I think the combat is a bit easier, though. I haven't been killed by a single legendary enemy yet.
Even on lower difficulties, your health can drop pretty damn quick if you're not staying in cover - it's very easy to die because you're not paying attention to your health, even in power armour.
Well it is a wasteland you wouldn't expect to have ammo just laying around everywhere I do however think that they should do something about the health cause its sometimes hard to notice it
Yeah, I don't normally notice until I'm sub 20% health and the screen starts warping a bit and making a noise, but during combat I don't always notice until I'm backed into a corner where the stimpak animation is going to take too long.
Theres a large mutant or robot thing covered in those pedal swans called swan and he yells out the word swan, you can cheap him out by running into a tunnel nearby as he is too big to fit
Mines man. Does no one use explosives in this game? That **** hurts and takes out their legs. For me the demo perk has been a real diamond in the rough. I just wish you had more explosive stuff to **** around with, and that you could do more with demo besides just throw grenades and plant mines.
I read about that in one of the loading screens. When crippled, the robots will crawl towards you. And if you blow off their arms, they'll charge and self destruct to take you with them.
I'm quite excited. i just finished MGSTPP and used the GMG coupon so I started the download at home and left it to work. I've only finished NV and got about halfway through 3 though. I intend on doing everything possible now though.
Right, they are pretty efficient at destroying things. I meant that in Fallout 4 I have found they tear up robots more than other weapons. Even though the damage of each specific "bolt" is less powerful than most weapons, they still oddly seem better at dismemberment than say shooting a robot with a single laser pistol or something like that. Either way, they are my favorite weapons in the Fallout series. I don't know if people realize that they are so powerful against high level enemies because of the low base damage, but usually they are almost game-breakingly powerful.
