Human mass migrations have curiously been one of the most powerful forces in history. Think about the barbarian hordes that brought down the Roman Empire, the Viking hordes that raided and settled across European coastlines, the various steppe and Mongol hordes that ravaged Eastern Europe, imperialism and colonization from the 16th to 20th centuries. Unsurprisingly, now is no different. What happens in this age will be something for the books alright.
Speak more of the vikings and their exploits. Especially the atlantic (greenlandic and icelandic) and Russian vikings. Im writing a paper and any additional knowledge would be appreciated. Im already thinking about incorporating the theme of mass migration as a powerful tool in manipulating the geopolitical status of the region that the mass migration affects and overall influence on human history. sealman
I was just thinking about their influence on the development of feudalism in France, Engalnd, and Sicily due to their continued raids. It was from a book I read a while back called...The Crucible of Europe. I think.
You do realise London was quite literally founded by immigrants? Though I will say that the Romans did bring just a dab of culture to the Celts, especially Londinium
Withstood the blitz because shortly after declaring war Hitler was like "hmm man I think I'll just bomb a few military installations, nothing too drastic after all I just forced them to surrender all their land military equipment", waited for Britain to entrench and start bombing German cities before he decided to actually try **** England but now a land war across the peninsula wasn't possible because he pissed off the Russians and the logistics lines became infested with spies.
you get to say this when it happens. **** is getting tense now yes and this **** can get worse but until we see where this goes you
can not say anything has yet been killed.
