Or, ya know, I have my own room and my own computer so I listen to whatever the **** I want however loud I want it and only use my headphones for when I go to work. Master race.
I think in the end, I found it kind of fun, I think setting goals for myself in the game is what made it enjoyable, like Im wifeing the **** out of that chick.
Yeah ive played a lot of league, i used to play the frozen throne dota and ive very lightly played dota 2. All i can say is those games are not fun unless youre playing with friends or youre lucky and youre in a friendly game. I've struggled lately in enjoying league of legends, but playing with friends is keeping me in.
I bought the first one for the gb technically not the first because it was the version with the enhanced color pallet , sat on a bench and played the entire thing.
Oh yeah and I get that, I used to play it for the entire day every day for a week when I had it on ps2, but once I looked back at it, it was like, did i have fun, or was it a really solid distraction. Also i loved the idea that on the ps2 and gamecube versions, you can just end the game as soon as you start it. Cracked up so hard.
I've only played the 64 version. For me, I did have fun, but there was a downside. The shortness of days meant you could barely get anything done. There was a huge world to explore, but you could only get so far before you had to return home to take care of the things that needed to get done daily. It actually was a great parallel for adult life, and turned out to be a bittersweet kind of fun. Do as much as you can in the time you have. You'll never do everything...
I think Harvest moon games in general had that problem, on ps2 Id often just sort out the farm, go out and give a flower to Cecilia, go fish for a while BAM night time. The problem I had with harvest moon was that after awhile, there's nothing to achieve on your farm anymore, so I'd catch myself sorting out the farm and then sleeping. It got to an awkward point where my character was an old man and my son was doing most of the farm work ,so id wake up, my son did the work, so id just go sleep. Living the dream.
I sunk a lot of time into the gamecube games but they felt like it was too easy to make money. Also bought the first 3 rune factory games but never finished those as I could not pick a waifu.
It's not a rehash of the previous games like people want, so old fans are ******** on it for not being enough like an RPG.
I love Fallout 1, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, Fallout 3, and my favorite is New Vegas. But FO4 hasn't disappointed me in such a way for me to call it bad. It's not New Vegas 2, it's Fallout 3 2.
Maybe it's worth the way for a lower price and more big fixes. Up to you, and your financial situation.
