A lot of them already are, it's just that they don't make for good content on FJ because most Funnyjunkers like the appeal to emotion rather than logic when it comes to content.
**idoliam used "*roll picture*"** **idoliam rolled image** Rant inbound. This may be TMI, but I just want to make a point about weight gain and people claiming that they "can't lose weight no matter what they do" because it's really starting to eat at me.
I have a condition where I have an excessive amount of cysts growing on my ovaries Poly cystic ovarian syndrome and it causes hormonal imbalance which is what made me gain weight. After I was diagnosed and the condition worsened, I ballooned from 120 to 200 pounds within a year even though I didn't change my eating habits or exercise. While it is significantly harder to lose weight, I have lost 40 pounds in three months because I got over myself and realized it's pointless to be sad about it when there's a solution. I am so over this "stop fat shaming me", "I already have a bikini body", "Disney made me self-conscious" and "Tess Munster is such a role model" ******** . I ******* love pissing off feminazis about the latter two
Talk to a ******* doctor if "you eat right and exercise but can't lose weight" because either you a) have to face that you are a lazy sack of **** that needs to learn some self control and discipline or b) you have an underlying medical problem but it's usually the former
What about DDT? People are claiming that DDT caused trans-generational side effects, one of which is the obesity epidemic. Personally I say it's because people have no self-control. Just because McDonald's pumps their meat full of hormones and chemicals to make it more addicting(which actually caused the national average cup size to go from B to C ;D ) doesn't mean you have to shove your face full of them until you look like TWO Peter Griffins.
I...might be willing to accept that DDT caused some sort of neurological disorder that compromises what usually falls under "Personal Fortitude", self control, motivation, and so on. If it's caused anything, it would likely be a brain chemistry imbalance, from what I recall. (Yeah, bit lazy to double check the details)
but the thing is, very few people have had firsthand exposure to it these days. It's been banned(in the US at least) since the early 70's. Pretty obesity for most people is more recent than that to the point that it shouldn't have (directly) caused it.
They say it affects the endocrine system across multiple generations. How though? Just because a parent suffered something like that doesn't mean that it gets carried in the genetic code passed to their children.
**karvarausku used "*roll picture*"** **karvarausku rolled image** New idea. put the "exercise" book on top shelf meanwhile the "media" book is on the mid so she can't reach the another one.
