I don't remember exactly what scene this is, but I know it's a scene where Alucard is either killing/about to kill something. Hope I could narrow it down for ya. seriously, though, I got no idea
Actually, Daenerys doesn't have any supernatural powers. Her immunity from fire was a one-off thing because of the ritual that hatched her dragons, and her dragons only obey her because she's the one that hatched and cared for them, not because she's magic.
Unless I'm mistaken, the Stormborn is the girl from Game of Thrones who hatches and raises dragons. The Dragonborn (or Dovahkiin) is from Elder Scrolls Skyrim in which (to a majority) you mostly slay dragons.
always found it funny when I just killed a dragon with wulthrad (the campanions questline weapon) and a guard says hey I know you your that new member of the campainions what do you do fetch the mead all from memory so probly not exactly right its like realy I just killed and absorbed a DRAGON
When I was first drawing out the comic, I planned to just draw two generic children. But when I first drew them, I thought that they kinda looked like Eren and Mikasa from AoT, so I figured I'd just draw the kids as Eren and Mikasa as some sort of cameo or something
for me its irritating that so many people in the game say things like don't cross me or the previously mentioned quote or anything like that when im a lvl 81 (max lvl if I remember right) orc with enchanted dadric armor and duel wielding dadric maces it like come on I can kill a dragon with little effort ??????????logic???????
So worth it. Switching from console gaming to PC gaming is probably the best decision I've made as a gamer. Opens up so many new opportunities and, well, if you're as immoral as I am you'll eventually save a whole lot of money on it as well due to pirating.
ya right now im using a duel core 2.13ghz 4gb of ram with intel hd graphics laptop lol and its not optimized at all so I cant even run gta san andreas or nfs carbon at full graphics lol
DA:2 was pretty bad about that, however, Inquisition is supposed to have more than decent maps, including one of legendary size, bigger than all DA:2's maps combined.
That said, I loved the Baldur's Gate series including both Dark Alliances , the so called inspiration behind DA
Uuuuugh, on the fourth book and just trying to make it through the series so I can get to Sanderson's work. I read that there was alot of padding in the series but jesus christ there's literally more description on the surroundings than actual story. Not to mention that 99% of the problems that arise can be fixed with the characters just ******* letting the other know "Oh hey I've known for two books that this bitch you like is one of the ultra evil bad-asses that are trying to destroy the world but rather than telling everyone I'm just going to give a cryptic message to the least talkative brain dead mother ****** in existence." rant over
It picks up after the fourth book. 5, 6, and 7 are the best as far as I've read (Dumnai's Well is awesome!). The key to the series is to power through them, read them one after the other.
I do get your issues with it, but what you hate about it (the padding) is what I like best about the series. Robert Jordan can create a universe better than any author I've read, even better than Tolkien, in my opinion. There is just so much going on there (some of it you have to look for), especially when the Forsaken are talking about the age of legends.
People always say how Game of Thrones is gritty and brutal, but Game of Thrones doesn't have thousands of people violently being torn apart in a matter of seconds.
When the Asha'man showed up and did that i had to put the book down and just think about the scene for like a good 20 minutes. That happens a lot in this series. It just have moments I can contemplate endlessly and I love it.
There were some great moments like when Rand decapitated 11 people before they could reveal themselves as dark-friends and used the power to line up their bodies and had them kneel to him I went to full stiffness but afterwards it was like that never happened and I felt disappointment.
I would just like if he didn't spend two pages describing a scene we'll only see once.
I actually love those moments. Later on in the series there's many encounters and fights that are described so vividly that I could create entire movies out of them. Like Kayred said that thing you don't seem to like is what I love about the series.
It's a great ass series, I'd rate it better than aSoIaF, granted I am currently reading WoT (I'm on book nine), so that is gonna affect my opinion, but still.
That's what I've heard. Book 8-10 are supposed to be a chore (though I enjoyed the **** out of book 8, and 9 is pretty good so far), but then its all worth it for the last four (especially when Sanderson takes over, I've only read the first mistborn book, but he knocked that one out of the park, in my opinion).
The combination of Sanderson and Jordan's minds created something beautiful. And I enjoyed all of the books so I've never understood why people say that stuff.
I got this all from a yelp like book review site, so I think it was a case of people hating it being the most vocal (as what usually happens on "yelp-like" sites). Most of the reviewers said they stopped reading during Elayne's ride to the farm. Granted, that part was slow, but it was one ******* chapter (and it was exposition, which should be expected since Jordan seems to think that his readers haven't read previous books in the series). They missed Rand and Perrin's awesome story arc because they couldn't tough it out one chapter.
As long as Perrin dumps Faile (or if she gets her **** together), I'll be happy. She is by far my least favorite character, to the point where I'd rather Perrin be with Berelain I'm at the part where Faile, Morgase, and the Gheldean (I think) queen just met Sevanna at the shaido camp. And I hope Mogedhien (or however they **** you spell it) switches sides . (Jordan loves making his female character's names hard to spell and pronounce, while the dudes names' are really simple).
Faile will most likely grow on you eventually. Probably after they escape the Shaido. And if not... Well then **** you. Also Perrin goes ******* crazy during her capture.
Yeah, I figured if anyone can teach her humility, it's gotta be the Aiel (and two ******* queens). I'm looking forward to seeing Perrin ******* . And I'm looking forward to Mat coming back, I haven't gotten to any chapters with him yet, but that's not like Jordan to ignore a Ta'veren for two books in a row.
Yeah I was kind of upset by the lack of Mat at that point but it gave a lot more time for Perrin which I thoroughly enjoyed and when Mat shows back up he does not disappoint.
She's practically a wetlander at this point And it was revealed that she has like 6 kids in one go, which grossed me out to be honest. Min's the one person (despite being the least powerful), who I feel like can hold her own.
I have not, not yet at least. I really should, Moraine is one of my favorite characters I'm not convinced that her and lanfear are dead , so I'm interested to see where her and Lan came from. I'll read that once I'm finished 9.
actually, I havent finished the series yet, so i dont know as though I am the biggest fan :/ its just, most of my user names for things stem from Lanfear because i have long black hair and she was like my favorite character.
What's the tattoo gonna be (Better not be dragons down both forearms)? I've decided that the only tattoo I might get would be my logo for...I'm not sure what to call it, I'm gonna start writing, so I started a website and I got a logo for it...
If you wanted to change it up go for it, but i LOVE the aiel and the spear is going to be a must. ji'e'toh will also be somehwere in the tattoo, probably not where i have it though. I might put that underneath or something
