I got scammed into selling 'CutCo' Knives when I was in high school. Anyway, part of the sales pitch was some meaningless demos - we'd use the knives to cut pennies and some other crap.
Anyway, this is the same thing. You could take two identical pans and bend one by hitting it with the other. All you are doing is hitting the CENTER of one pan again the weaker edge of another.
You can go on YouTube and find people rolling up frying pans with their bare hands....it doesn't take a lot of force.
A real experiment would be to hit both pans in the same way and see how they bend....but the thing is....even that is stupid because nobody gives a **** if the pan bends. That's not how people use pans and it's meaningless.
Companies generally spend 40-50% of their budgets on advertising. In a Single Level Marketing structure, like Cutco/Vector Marketing, the revenue you generate is a cumulative amount that determines how large a percentage you receive when you make a sale. They make you qualify your leads, which unfortunately, you are not very good at networking with that age group, you will be unable to succeed with Cutco. I personally sold Cutco for 4 days before realizing their system of business wouldn't work for me.
A Multi-Level Marketing (or Network Marketing) structure is based of different levels of commissions you receive from generating a specific amount of revenue each month. This is through a process (typically) of sales and recruiting a team/sales force to generate more sales, just like any sales/marketing company in existence. These companies typically offer a retail commission and profit sharing commission. Examples of these companies would be Amway, Avon, Herbalife, and Mary Kay. I am an Amway IBO, and make no small efforts to keep ignorant/uninformed people from bashing the direct sales industry, considering 15.9 million Americans are involved with it. Over $200 million in commissions are paid out every day in the industry, and people like you who run their mouths pander to opinions instead of facts. Am I a millionaire? No. But I have a better chance of becoming one through Amway than you do of winning the lottery.
TL; DR You don't know jack, go work at McDonald's, you hack.
You got scammed into it? Dude, I made like $1000 in one summer by following these 5 easy steps! But legit I made more than that and barely put any effort into it, why would you consider yourself scammed?
