Does anyone else find OP to be a dumbass, considering I can walk into any store here in Maine and buy them in bulk. I don't know why people harp on about them technically being illegal.

Sure they are, but weeds illegal too and that doesn't seem to stop anyone. It is one of those laws that's on the books, but not really enforced beyond a token "they were obviously buying or eating them and an example needs to be made" kind of way. Just don't go down to the FDA and show off the egg and youl be fine.

Nah I'm pretty sure I saw a comment a while back when someone explained that they removed the ban.

They didn't lift the ban, they modified it.

I see, that would make sense instead of just removing it.

I know. I am not defending it by any means, but it's not really enforced so it's a moot point. Every country has questionable laws and bans, we just gotta get rid of them.

You have no idea how close I came to flagging this accidentally. The title made it look just like one of those spam contents with random letters and caps.
