Dad was pretty poor as a kid parents couldn't afford many toys. Dust devils sprang up all the time where he lived so he would put on goggles and run through them for fun times. Was dangerous and sometimes got knocked in the face by small rocks no permanent damage though
Arizonafag here. This is a common thing to see in the Sonoran Desert. Best ones are the 30 foot wide, mile high type that are mostly tumbleweeds and 1940s beer cans.
It's a puny Dust Devil, they can hardly do **** . Mabey Terrifying for some EU brats but Here in the Midwest we don't run for cover unless we actually see a tornado, And even then, who cares.
theirs a park in the elementary school i used to go to, that these dustdevils happen in occasionally. i remember playing in them as a kid, it was so awesome running through them, pretending to get thrown around by the wind. the biggest ones were about that size
