madb (01/07/2016) [-] oh i dont know the title claiming it to be treasure. the fact that the chest looks like it was salvaged from the ******* titanic but contains modren money, has a picture that is supoused to look old but the material of the photo is modern, the money litarely has time stamps that say 2000.

rsca (01/07/2016) [-] *************** . That photo is a little too fresh looking. Where is the browning fade that usually occurs on paper after about 15+ years? You can't tell me that box is moisture proof when the whole box itself is rusted to sh*t. I'm no forensics expect but even I can call b.s. And those coins are looking awfully shiny for something locked up probably 50+ years. Not to mention the lack of dust in the bottom.

So the person who the box and the place belonged to probably used it up to the point of when it fell into the possession of the girl. so that would explain why the money and lock look so new.
