Just the force he puts into each of his swings makes this scene pretty epic already
Same with the scenes where Kylo gets enraged and just slams his lightsaber around like a madman, holy **** that force (the lightsaber itself is pretty baller as well, dat intense glow, though the crossguards seemed kinda useless most of the time)(In short, Kylo would've been my favourite character from the new movies if they made him either die or kill someone besides his father )

what is that able to withstand the lightsabre though? i was thinking vibroblade but it looks like one i have never seen or heard described, is it being electrified simply able to resist the beam? would really love a link to some lore about it.

I'm thinking something similar to an electrostaff. Like what Grievous's guards used. Just more dense and one-sided instead of two. That or it utilizes some sort of ion shielding around standard metal/alloy.
