Eh, still true. I grew out of my asthma, and I couldn't do **** when it hit me. That's pretty much the definition of week.

Ah yes. Comparing physical ailments to someones over-sensitivity and pampered personality. Brilliant comparison.

Last I checked the brain was a physical organ. Some people's brains are wired differently physically. To some, words=pain.

I'm just saying, everyone is made differently, both physically and mentally, and it's wrong to assume that they are weak just because they react to something in a way that is different than you although, I will certainly agree, in this instance, the man was overreacting in a stupid way. But it's just stupid to assume that people who take offence to something are instantly weak.

But this isn't something they are born and/or made with. Its the environment they are exposed to (to an extent) and this victim mentality they adopt where "safe zones" are constructed in systems of higher education to protect them from opposing views and "triggers". There may be some cases where people truly are hurt by certain words, but the VAST majority are nothing but attention seeking snakes. There is a reason this whole TRIGGERED meme exists. So this applies to the one who just replied to me as well.

Also, I deleted my original comment, because I regret making it. It's really hypocritical me to point out something for being taken out of context by using an example of myself taking something out of context. You are right in that respect

I will agree, safe zones and people getting over offended about absolutely everything is stupid. The modern world is far too oversensitive nowadays.

I just personally don't agree with the original image. The human is a very complex species. Personally, I find it quite dumb to assume that someone is dumb simply because they are offended, because everyone has been offended before at least once in their life.

So yeah, heres basically the rundown on what I think:

People who take trivial nonsense offensively: stupid
People who assume that, just because you are offended, you are instantly weak and are afraid of words: also stupid

Everything makes sense when you take it out of context.
