You're living in the past bud. My laptop can do everything my friends desktops can (and sometimes more cause some of them are cheapskates) AND I can take it to work, where I can fly through 10+ excel sheets, various databases, etc. Plus my boss can't go through my personal computer

so? a "gaming laptop" is still the computer equivalent of a vegetarian burger. the most important features of a laptop (light, portable, decent battery life) are the exact opposite of what's important for gaming (powerful, big screen, actual keyboard unless you're using a gamepad). just because you can theoretically do it doesn't mean it makes sense. and if your boss going through your work computer provided by the company you'd best consider finding a new job.

mondominiman (06/10/2015) [-] Mobility is honestly the only thing it has going for it. I use my desktop at home but whenever I visit friends/family/ go on trips I use my laptop. I mean when I'm at home I rarely use it, maybe to do **** with my phone but thats about it.
