If women don't want to be seen as sexual objects maybe they should stop being so god damn sexy

Perspective.

>Dude drawing non-existent fetish-fueled women with huge tits and big asses and tiny waists in scanty clothing

Yes, that is clearly objectifying, but that is the point. Because drawings are objects.

>Dude painting a portrait of a model in front of him
Also objectifying, because he is turning their likeness into an object. A painting. Paintings are objects.

Neither of these are bad.

Because people mock both. They call the first an attention whore and the second a pig.

There are women who love looking at scantily clad women too

I think we get it by now. Some feminists are stupid as **** and do nothing but bring shame to their entire cause and make women look bad in general (even though they shouldn't have that much power, but hey, they're the noisy minority). So can we just stop caring or something now? Or at least get butt-hurt over something else for a little while? I feel like all this feminist **** is slowly turning me gay..

i just saw some of Anita Sarkeesian videos just a minute ago about objectifying women in games. the worst part is she is full of **** and a more narrow minded than the space between her fat ass.

I don't think that's how it really is. In my opinion, you get away with a lot being an artist - and if it's just a woman in her undies, nobody really gives a **** apart from a few feminazis that nobody listens to anyway.

If anything I've only noticed the opposite of this...? Except maybe on tumblr, but even then.

Honestly, there is absolutely nothing wrong with revealing cosplays or revealing costume designs. However, women are incredibly sexualized in comics (and a lot of other places for that matter). And while these aren't inherently harmful or bad, it does kind of send the message that a woman's worth is in a direct correlation to her appearance. inb4 men in comics are sexualized too. they are not. men in comics are a power fantasy, there is a difference.

It's not the sexuality that is a problem, is the disproportionate number of non sexualized females to highly sexualized ones.

Honestly I haven't a lot ***** to give on the subject either way, so here is a toad with a banjo.'\

This is the exact opposite of what happens at comic con. Booth Babes are treated like monsters who should be rejected and shamed even though they are just people trying to do their job. This content doesn't really make since.

I don' get it. I'd encourage sluttyness any day.

And since when are artists called pigs.. ever?

What is up with this whole idea of "objectification"? Animals have most likely used sexual visual displays for millions of years. Why is representing women in pictures sexually some new human development or the product of a corrupt human patriarchy?

This sort of thing in our culture is not new. It is merely the human example of what evolved and been in animals for eons.

This is true but as intelligent creatures we constantly advance behind certain needs.

Maybe this is just another one of those things. I doubt it though.

Also, because animals do it it's okay? That's an odd way of thinking

Don't you guys get it yet? If we die, then we will be finally doing something correctly.

The anti-feminist trend has become as cancerous as the atheist trend. I agree, along with most or the internet, that feminists are assholes and god probably doesn't exist. That doesn't mean that you should post it everywhere. The people that post anti-feminist content are to feminism what Ricky Gervais and Bill Maher are to religion.
