A snake's reflexes are so hardwired that if their eyes detect movement their body react instantly and bites, even if the snake died hours ago.

Kinda makes me feel sad because think about it he's trying to move or defend himself to avoid danger but it's already over and there's nothing he can do about it.

Even if it is just reflexes it still kinda gets me

That **** is dead, it just doesn't know it yet. And the camera man still jumps when it moves suddenly. I would too.

Probably not.
Probably a reference to the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, which was itself probably a reference to whatever you were talking about.

that was actually really depressing to watch... I love snakes, but it might have been poisonous or something, but still... I love snakes.

that poor snake must be in agony.
once when i was in primary school i saw a bee that had stung someone and i felt very sad for it (and i'm allergic to bees, so i was also somewhat uncomfortable) and a classmate of mine picked a dandelion and trhew it to the bee; it was a sad, but heart-warming sight to see the dying bee try to pollinate the flower... and then some ******** stomped the bee.
enraged by his act of pure apathy i convinced him that the queen of that bees hive was going to kill him. he was scared ******** of bees for at least a week after

>Stomps on dying bee, likely ending it's agonizing pain while it's organs are pulled out of it's body through it's asshole
>Terrify kid because you're upset that he killed it

The bee was dying. Everything dies, sometimes horribly, but letting something suffer is terrible if you know better.

snakes are tough mother ******* . I live near a swamp, so there are a lot of cotton mouths and such. I only kill the aggressive ones, and I often just shoot them. I used to shoot them with a .22, and that usually does do the trick, but it isn't quick enough. I've shot a snake in the head 4 times for it to die about 2 hours later. even shotguns aren't that effective either, depending on the round. I have resorted to using larger game rifles to take out the snakes, usually a .270 or one of my mosins. with ballistic rounds, they basically blow up the ******** head.

That's why you CRUSH snake heads, not cut them off... even the goddamn Bible teaches you that!
