Wait, is that really all that kid did? Im not defending the thing I just thought when he made a clock he MADE a clock not moved the wiring into a new casing
I really love how a kid, who was actually interested in engineering gets arrested unfairly because of some ******** , and FJ starts acting like he's some sort of cunt.
Yeah, he literally took a store bought clock, cut a hole in a briefcase, and thew the clock in it. People are criticizing the school by saying **** like it's racial profiling and whatnot, but the thing seriously looked like a bomb. Plus he didn't make **** . It's like I go to the store, buy an xbox, take it out of it's casing and put it in a briefcase, then say I made it.
He didnt make a clock, his father (who by the way was a sudaneese presidential candidate, yes the man was running to be the leader of one of the only countries that actively supports terrorist groups) made it. They go through what every part of the clock is except that little bag of white powder, the media never mentions it, but while its probably nothing in this case, a little bag like full of Pentaerythritol tetranitrate, or PETN (a white powder) is exactly what Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab attempted to bomb an airplane with, and that little bag is more than enough to bring down an airplane or level a fair part of that school building. Im just sayyinnn.
"who by the way was a sudaneese presidential candidate"
"one of the only countries that actively supports terrorist groups"
Nice one completely leaving out the fact that he campaigned for freedom of the press, anti corruption systems, equality for women and fighting to stop terrorism.
Not this site for sure
Even the "sources" most people provide are usually blogs and 10 year old pages, people will believe them regardless because the post has many thumbs
I just don't understand why he chose a metal case, like, he couldn't choose a more bomb like container than that. It's almost like he wanted it to look like a ******* bomb.
What I really wanna know is why no one has bothered to ask him "Hey genius, why is the time display on the inside of the case?"
Like you couldn't figure out that maybe closing the case and displaying the correct time might make it a hair more clock like in appearance.
Either im missing something obv or im not seeing it. Are you referring to the white square under the mesh in the bottom right of the case? If so, that seems to be paper, or was it confirmed to be a bag or white powder?
Really? I Find that hard to believe. No offense. It just seems like i would have heard it by now. Can you give me a link to some proof? Like an article if you have one?
>one of the only countries that actively supports terrorist groups
maybe that's what he was trying to change
not to mention that's wrong. Saudi Arabia comes to mind instantly.
and the "his dad build the clock" comes from the kid couldnt give a word about how it worked or what's inside of it to the police and couldn't say anything but "it's a clock" no matter how the question was asked.
But weirdly accurate, I can say for sure, everyone here in Wisconsin thinks he made it to look like a bomb, but was caught and played it off as a project. He was openly stated to have been bullied, and is suspected to have made the clock on purpose.
A clock doesn't belong in a suitcase, there are millions of other items to place a clock in. This was intentional.
You're still avoiding how his dad is a candidate advocating against terrorism in Sudan, and have yet to explain why the explosives aren't hooked up to anything in the briefcase if they're relevant.
>His dad runs for president of sudan
>Sudanese government agencies (or some of them) funded terrorist groups
>Here's a terrorist - from sudan.
So obviously the dad is a terrorist, wanted to blow up the school, somehow failed so hard he built a clock.
Is that what you're trying to say?
Any citations on the position of the father on terrorism?
Pretty much. Look at his interview, it's basically just a plead to get into MIT. Now he got a free scholarship there, and getting free electronics from numerous companies.
He really is a genius, just more of a Al Sharpton genius rather than an Einstein one.
that the most ********* thing ever, the kid pulled a clock apart and stuck it in a case, then through a series of unfortunate events and zero tolerance laws, got arrested, and now he gets to meet the president, go to MIT, visit NASA? **** that.
Before starting this out, I'd like to mention how he told the media that he had been made fun of in school before because kids kept calling him terrorist and bomb maker or whatever because of his race. As you can see, the clock needs to be plugged in to work, and just like any other alarm clock, it needs to be set to go off.
He disassembled an alarm clock and put it in a "pencil case" (the case you see on the left... not like the normal clear plastic ones). He apparently told the media/police later that since he recognized how sketchy it looked for him to be carrying that case around, he decided to use cord to keep it closed rather than the built in lock. He brought it to school, and showed his engineering teacher. The teacher, having common sense with him, told him to keep it hidden and not bring it up for the rest of the day. Later, in his English class, the alarm went off and it scared the teacher and students. When he refused to say anything about what it was other than "it's a clock" the police were called in. When he still refused to even tell them to call the engineering teacher, why he brought it to school, etc., and he continued to be uncooperative, he got in trouble. Now he's getting invited to the White House and being praised for this.
So, to recap, this boy who was called a terrorist by his peers decided to bring a box that he admitted to knowing was sketchy-looking to school the first day back after 9/11. After being told to keep it hidden by his teacher, he plugged it in, set the alarm, and refused to cooperate with the authorities who were rightfully suspicious. He then claimed to have created the clock, rather than just disassembling it, played the victim, and changed his story to the police about what happened. And he's getting praised for it.
Here's a video going over it www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WV2EdDGq5I
What I say is absolutely true, at least for what the many articles I have read have said. His father is apparently a lawyer and they had hired another lawyer prior to the kid getting arrested for the "just in case" the school didn't like his "invention".
And without evidence, apparently. Seriously, how about you go Google it, search your browser history or something and come back to us with an article or 20 (scratch the "or" part, we're going to need at least 20 terrible sources or 3 really good ones for this claim).
" His father is apparently a lawyer and they had hired another lawyer prior to the kid getting arrested for the "just in case" the school didn't like his "invention"."
The article is a legit criticism, but said nothing pertaining to what he said
I'm not sure on the lawyer situation, but the family has a history with Islamaphobia. Smart money says this way planned. Richard Dawkins even tried to argue the point before being swamped by upset bandwagoners.
Well cunt, if you want better sources then find them yourself. This website is full of lazy ass bitches. I bet yo mommas did all your homework for you too.
The thing here is I am not in the mood to argue with bitches who are too ******* lazy to just google something that has been all over the internet in the past week. I did my quick search and came up with 2 things supporting what I said that was blown off by other assholes. And I still get ******** being ******** . I have better things to do than do all the work for people who want to just be assholes to me and think that they can get me to come up with all the proof.
If my sources aren't good enough for you and you're still interested then search yourself. Simple as that. I am not anybodys bitch.
This brings back the memories of not having music on an early 2000's flip phones and trying to create beats that sound like your favorite songs with your friends...
**whitegamedeveloper used "*roll picture*"** **whitegamedeveloper rolled image** If i go over and scream IRA mother ****** and have a large bag with me can I go to the white house too if I ******** and say that i was advising people to put money into their IRA funds.
I Dont understand how cops can get murdered and he doesn't even address their families or the problem at hand. But he invites that kid to the ******* white house. At most the school maybe should have forgave the ******* kid.
A kid brought a home made clock into school, He was Islamic. The clock looked like a IED and he was taken and questioned. Obama and others took it as a Racial discrimination thing.
The fact of the matter is that the school KNEW it wasn't a bomb. If they genuinely believed he had a bomb, they would have called a bomb squad/evacuated the school. The interrogation was simply them trying to humiliate the kid/making sure he has no "terrorist" ties (Wtf?) Like whatever that means. How can someone assume you have ties to terrorists when you haven't even done anything wrong.
They were investigating it as a hoax....which is a crime.... which is very likely what happened here but instead of getting into a lot of trouble he won the media lottery.
Well it's the teacher/school's fault because the class was assigned to create an engineering project. He built a clock. If he had done so for no reason, I'd be on your side. But he built a clock to show to his engineering teacher for an engineering project.
Willful blindness (sometimes called ignorance of law, willful ignorance or contrived ignorance or Nelsonian knowledge) is a term used in law to describe a situation in which a Person seeks to avoid civil or criminal liability for a wrongful act by intentionally putting him or herself in a position where he or she will ..
No. He was a new student at the school and supposedly he brought it to impress his teacher. He first showed it to an engineering instructor who told him not to show it to anyone else. He then went to english class where it went off and his english teacher saw it and reported it.
Now, you'll note from the photograph of it that it has a power cord and no back up battery attached. So one must conclude that he deliberately plugged it in. He would have also deliberately had to set the alarm to make it go off while in class.
there's a wonderful youtube video that also goes into great detail explaining how he didn't "build" anything. He, at most, took the screws out of an old digital clock and tossed the parts into a pencil case.youtu.be/CEmSwJTqpgY
students were cunts to him and now a much bigger door has opened to him
**** them and the school. People in this site are acting like such jealous juvenile cunts for not getting invited to the white house or getting a degree or some **** get the **** over it. The kid had no idea any of that would happen and implying he knew all of it is just retarded.
Because Obama is a ******* SJW. Oh poor oppressed ghetto trash and Muslims they are so discriminated against. All they are doing is bombing and raping people.
It's because in today's progressive mindset, a Muslim getting persecuted for anything is subject to riots.
So, I'm sure the President invited him to the White House because he didn't want another state of emergency on his hands. He realizes that if people were to freak out about cop killings about enough as those SJWs do about dindus and babyboomers, then it'd be a different way.
He's doing it to stop people from freaking out about it too much.
I Get that, But what about Ferguson and those riots? Couldn't he as easily fixed those if he addressed the public. Saying it was wrong to disrespect the very people that try to protect them?
No. Because if the President says that you can't fight back with the police, everyone will just say " **** you, Obama! He's part of the police state! He's part of the problem!"
Instead, he decided to distance himself from it, then just say that what happened is a tragedy and he should be memorialized as a figure for white on black crimes. Just exactly what the mob wanted to hear. He's trying to make them happy.
Allow me to try and answer this in the most non-inflammatory way possible. Simply put, Police are supposed to be peacekeepers, and in the pursuit of such they are the ones that should be risking their neck more than others, it certainly comes with an occupational hazard. while it's sad that innocent cops have been killed/beaten because of this, in an ideal world this would be the better alternative than civilians getting said treatment. personally I am upset learning about this happening, but I feel that this could have been avoided if in response to the sudden mass media coverage of police brazenly gunning down people and getting away with it, they in response did a better job of punishing those who abuse their power, and in the case of New York City, not acted like they were stabbed in the back when they were told off over the incident with ... what was his name again? Eric something or other... Meanwhile this kid did in fact get wrongly accused of bringing a bomb to school, and when taken out of class and brought into a room with cops, they more or less said "yep, knew it'd be him" which can in NO WAY be twisted to deny the racist intent behind it. he was then taken in and was interrogated without his parents, despite being 14, and was probably going to be charged with a bomb hoax, until the story made it to the media and the national attention twisted Texas' arm so they couldn't charge him. Obama invited him to the white house because he needed to help contain the issue and assure the world that (reasonable) Americans aren't islamophobic.
With the way the world is today, where kids do take weapons into school to kill fellow classmates Etc. And how racist discrimination is abundant, and the value of a police officers life is worthless. You have to understand my point of view. The child should have realized that bringing that clock into school without giving anyone prior knowledge. Is outright stupid.Social justice shouldn't be put ahead of actual justice. Also, If this was a white child, Or a black kid. You really think this would be publicized like this??
no, it wouldn't have, then again, if it was a white kid and he if fact brought in a weapon and started killing people rampantly, he'd of been labeled a "lone wolf" with "unmedicated psychological issues" and in the same situation he'd instead of been let off reasonably lightly compared to what was in store for this kid, and if it was a black kid, he'd of just been arrested and tried and anyone who was like "this is hardly fair" would be shown a picture of him holding a gun or something in a style to attempt to demonize him. and define "actual Justice" pretty much every cop killer out there gets taken down with EXTREME efficiency and speed
Long story short. People need to respect their government more. I Find it appalling when a riot breaks out over the death of one black man. When cops around the United states get shot down by the black population more than any other.
And if some black kid did the same thing, It wouldn't be publicized. IF THE KID WAS A GOOD KID. If he does have images of him flashing a gun. He deserved to be demonized and the media would. I Dont doubt it.
if that was the truth, then why didn't this picture of Dylan Roof, the kid who shot up the church get thrown around everywhere? I only found out about this pic through people I follow on twitter/tumblr. and even then, I still hear loads of people say that he was just a lone wolf, doesn't represent anything, etc, but a single picture of trayvon martin/some guy who resembled mike brown, and suddenly everyone's on board the "he's a thug who deserved it" train, point is, there is legitimate reason to be upset at how these things are handled in modern society
P.S If someone rushes a cop. They do deserve to be demonized and killed. Its just my view. Im probably bias because i am part of a huge family of law enforcement.
and admittedly I'm biased against them because I grew up around a bunch of people who wanted to be cops, and ALL of them were twitchy kids bullied all their life, exactly the worst kind of person for the job, and lo and behold, they all made it through, and last time I went on facebook, they were literally posting the confederate flag everywhere and talking about gay marriage being legal is a sign of blah blah blah.
This image got put on media everywhere, The only reason the one your are showing didnt. Is because the one i have shows that he was also a racist person. AKA The confederate flag, This picture better showed him as a racist and a thug. Its just how the image portrays him. It would be different if it was a good image a This image got put on media everywhere, The only reason the one your are showing didnt. Is because the one i have shows that he was also a racist person. AKA The confederate flag, This picture better showed him as a racist and a thug. Its just how the image portrays him. It would be different if it was a good image like him as a boy.
And also, The way the police dealt with the situation, Is how they are suppose to. And of course the police had a little racial view on the situation. Wouldn't you?
actually, no. then again, I don't live in the bible belt, where this sort of **** is the norm. and the fact they interrogated him without his parents and were even still going to try him for bomb hoax hardly seems like they were following proper procedure
we're also assuming they did that too, last I heard, they aren't allowed to even start interrogating a minor until either the parents or a legal guardian are present, plus, how do we know they didn't coerce him either, he's 14 and an immigrant in a state not exactly known globally for being particularly accepting of people who aren't of the "WASP" variety
That's not the point I'm trying to make with that, that's just the picture I had saved.
But it doesn't take a ******* electrical engineer to figure that **** out in less than a glimpse of the eye, any moron could see what the make up of this thing was without thinking.
Yes, a bomb can look like anything, especially something that has common circuitry, .50 pcb baords, obviously distinguishable wiring patterns, obviously no false bottoms to hide explosives, and obviously no explosives.
Don't know much about bombs but I do know that small amounts of liquids and powders can be used. I also know that you could make a bomb with a single wire and a small amount of explosives. I also know that the suitcase in question had a 1/3 inch distance from inside to out which could be used to house explosives. I also know there is not set shape or diagram for a bomb. And I especially know that when Ahmed comes into class with a ticking suitcase that he refuses to show to you, panic is warranted. I sincerely hope you're trying to play devils advocate.
The battery connector is just there, just about every single alarm clock has a battery back up, in-case...you know..the power goes out and stuff.
With that said, I don't see any reason to do this, other than to make it look like a bomb, it's a traditional old-timey movie bomb. Clock counting down in a suitcase of some sort.
Now I'm not saying he got arrested on purpose or anything, all I'm saying is that I can't think of any reason to do this, other than to actually make something that looks like a bomb, he probably did it without thinking too seriously about the implications, but it's my opinion that he made it purposefully to look like a bomb.
It only really looks like a bomb from the super cheesy Saturday morning cartoons perspective, I mean anybody just glancing at it quick could reasonably tell it wasn't a bomb.
Should he have thought more carefully about the implications if, somehow, someone manage to deduct that it looked like a bomb? Sure, why not, you have to expect the worst kind of people out there. But I don't feel it was his intention to possibly deceive people otherwise, he'd make it look like an actual bomb, y'know . He probably did it to either; Show off and claim he made it from scratch so people would think he's smart because kids are like that , or he wanted take it apart and look at it's workings and thought "Hey, I could put this in a pencil case and make a portable clock with that battery connector, that would be cool"
I just realized I put more effort into dusting my laptop this afternoon than this kid did for his clock. Why isn't there an international conference in my honor?
Sand ****** only did it for attention, he knew it would cause this type of reaction and hes n attention whore who will get free scholarships under the guise of muh progressive nature and ******** like that.
This is why anyone who has worked with electronics kept saying it looks nothing like a bomb. He ripped the **** out of an alarm clock and gets to get a job at google, meanwhile real electronics hobbyists go unnoticed. heres a REAL homemade clock made by someone who isnt so ******* casual:
