If you're on an actual long flight (10+ hours) there's a chance of deep vein **** if you don't take off your shoes and walk around.

No there isn't.

Are you seriously hallucinating that that article is backing up your "point" that you have to take your shoes off?

You are delusional.

Why you upset?

DVTs are certainly real, and you can get them from sitting stationary for long hours (travelling), but wearing (properly fitting) shoes won't have any meaningful impact on your risk.

As an Australian there is only long flights.
Europe: 26 hours
U.S: 23<
Asia: 4-12
To another part of the country: Just under 4 hours.
You don't want to wear shoes for that long. I don't think I actually could if I tried.

???

I wear my shoes for at least 12 hours almost every day (except during Summer months when temperatures get up to 45+ degrees, **** that)

Have them on by 7AM, my classes finish at 5, do dance or archery 4 days of the week, usually get home by about 9:30PM.

i do after about 4 or 5 hours on a plane. i always wear slip on shoes to make the security checkpoint go quicker and sometimes slipping them off for 20 minutes feels awesome after being in the same chair.
