I can't believe I missed you by an hour. You better ******* post this again in fourteen years, if you want my thump Josh. I'll be right here waiting. Btw's I totally noticed that in your gif, when he initially tosses the scepter to do the "i can cinematically twirl my weapon before i need it to hit some guy". He tosses it and is about to catch it on the one end while it is facing (his head being 12 o'clock) at ten o'clock. Then immediately in the next frame he is holding it on the opposite end at 5 o clock, then proceeds to smack said peasant. I dun know ****** me up. its late. I need sleep.
Except that the 7 day week is based on the bible and there it also states that sunday (the day of rest) was the seventh day. There is also an ISO (8601) which states that sunday is the last day of the week, not the first.
Except Saturday was the original day of rest, and the day Jesus rested (he died on a Friday , rested on his Sabbath, Saturday, and then rose again on Sunday)
Sunday seventh day was started by catholics. But, like who cares, if you love god and all worship whenever.
But this is why Jews worship on Saturday.
It could just be a cultural thing, then. I know everyone over here in the Americas learns it as Sunday-Saturday and not Monday-Sunday. I think they do the same in England and whatnot. If that's the case, then sorry mate. Just a bit of a misunderstanding between cultures.
Ah yes. Because those calendars we spent years developing and **** don't matter. And its not like there's a song that we learn in ******* KINDERGARTEN that goes "Sunday, Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday."
Whoa, I think I used to sing that song too, but it started with "Monday" at the beginning. I understand what you are saying, but I personally have always been brought up with Monday as the first day.
London, England. But when I was younger and learning things like days of the week I lived in Stratford, one of the less well-off areas of London so that might be a factor
International week form states monday as the first day of the week, because that's the first business/work day of the week these days, since saturday and sunday are freetime. I find this pretty reasonable logic.
I see your kindergarden song, and counter with a nursery rhyme: Solomon Grundy, born on a...?
While this is a stupid thing to argue about, the international -standard- puts monday as the first day of the week. The US, as usual, have however decided to ignore this notion, and tends to put Sunday first. www.timeanddate.com/calendar/days/
It's because of the whole Sabbath (aka saturday) thing from the jewish religion, I think. Nothing to really do with the development of the calendar's function as a tool to keep track of the year, though.
Bart pretneds to be kidnapped and is just spending time with a big name rapper. Lisa and Skinner go to the rapper's mansion to find evidence. One of the people on stage has a clock displaying the time and another has a necklace with the date and day of the week, as seen in the content. It's just saying it's Thursday, the 20th right now. More just a reference than a joke.
I never watched simpsons but I did waste a large portion of my time on runescape.
If only it were still playable in-browser...
Waiting fo dat HTML5 version.
staking?
I don't really want to download the client, one of the larger appeals of runescape to me was that it was a fairly large game you didn't have to download.
