Alright, this experiment is completely rotten to the core and let me tell you why that is.
Beware of long post.

First of all they start by compairing it to that woman's teaching carreer and the experiments she used to do in the classroom. You can't do that for two key reasons. First and foremost, the relationship between her and her former students and the relationship between her and a group of strangers is completely different. Back then she was a woman the kids had been seeing for a long time, a person they trusted and who had genuine authority over them. Here it is just an old hag that bosses them around. This is proven by the lack of control she is able to muster when the discussion starts. The second reason is that these indivuals have probably been brought up, constantly being told that racism is a bad thing. They have already learned racism is serious and can be really harmfull. The kids used to see it as a game, went way too far, in part because of peer pressure, and ended up seriously hurting their blue-eyed classmates.

But the most important reason why this experiment doesn't achieve what it aims to, is that the blue eyed adults see through the charades. Instead of subjecting to being victimised, they see their segregation as a personal insult, as if they're being told they're racist. Like the brown eyed boy and woman pointed out, the lady perceives them as racists, they themselves do not and the group does not. They brown eyes are not quiet because they're scared to contribute, but because they see this as well, and might think it too far to actually call these people out on being racist

The only argument that came from the brown eyed group that supported the lady's thesis is that ignorance is part of the problem. This is based on the remarks of the blue eyes like "I need to conform too" and "racism isn't exclusively for black people". While it's true that ignorance is a real issue, I do not believe these people are ignorant. They're being forced in a position in which they feel the need to defend themselves and aren't placed on the same level as the majority group. This is a great way to ruin a decent discussion and make room for faulty arguments. In other words, should you have asked the blue eyes whether racism and ignorance exist and are real problems, i doubt anyone would have answered no. The way the discussion is structured, is the reason it ended being about a completely different thing: 'Does racism exist just for black people?' (Also note there's not a SINGLE person that denies that racism exists or is a problem.)

Nevertheless, I think it is a good thing the experiment didn't work. In the first ten minutes of the vid i was expecting the turn of events being different. I expected the blue eyes to be victimised and the brown eyes to contribute. I thought that the lady would then in the end start scolding the brown eyes for becoming racist as well. This didn't happen, instead a discussion emerged where everyone defended their own views. Not a single one of them would have argued racism to not be a problem, so the only way for her to even being able to start that argument was to put the blue eyes in an subjected position. This experiment is completely rotten and totally misses it's aim. But because of that, it's not useless, because it proves that racism (At least in GB) is being condemned and probably on the decline, which is fantastic.

Whatever the point of the experiment was, you can't deny the fact that even if the initial divide between the groups was brown/blue eyes, as time passed, the divide turned into black/white people. I think it would have had much more of an impact if some of the blue eyed people were also black.
