"In 2011 Northern Inuit dogs were cast as the direwolves in the first season of the HBO TV series Game of Thrones based on the book series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin.[2]"

I would die from laughter and mauling of those things got after me. If I looked back and saw them trotting along after me, I would fall over laughing. And then probably get my throat ripped out by midget wolves.

It could be a Saarloos Wolfhound.
#39 to #38 - bwiedieter (03/03/2015) [-]
It is, in fact, a Saarloos Wolfhound.
#43 to #39 - DealZ (03/03/2015) [-]
It is, in fact, not a Saarloos Wolfhound. The wolfhound is gaunt, and has the ears and coloring scheme of a German shepherd
#62 to #43 - bwiedieter (03/03/2015) [-]
On the left, you can see what a Saarloos Wolfhound looks like. Does it look gaunt to you in any way or form? Does it have a GerShep colour or pattern?
No. Because, while it can have colour and pattern of a GerShep, it´s not a mus.

They are, someone made a breed that looks a little like them, which is to say it's just a slightly bigger wolf
User avatar #11 - shixma (03/03/2015) [-]
Looks like a husky/wolf hybrid or maybe a malamute/wolf hybrid, you need a license to own these as far as I know.

User avatar #34 - RKOViper (03/03/2015) [-]
Looks like a standard grey wolf. You wouldn't know it by looking at them on all fours but that's a pretty average size on it's hind legs.

Goddamn rangers and their epic animal companions.
