"Hey stem cells, you know you wanna become muscles!"
"nah... I dont really feel like it"
"oh, come on! Muscle cells are cool!"
"I think I'll prefer to stay as stem cells"
"Well, is that what you'll be saying if I offer you free pig bladders?"
"holy **** , free pig bladders? Damn, where do I sign up?"

My wife is only gonna be eating bananas during her pregnancy, my son will be 10% more banana than other people

You do realize that this is a joke, right?
It's a reference to some tumblr post or something, where someone said "Are you saying that some people are 10% more banana than other people?"

Ununseptium was discovered in 2010, but only confirmed a few days ago.

New super-heavy elements aren't really that exciting, basically they're unstable to the point of worthlessness. You have to force particles to combine into them to begin with.

"The periodic table has been extended, with the announcement of the confirmation of the yet to be named element 117."

So we're just going to pretend than a circuit human brain and a new element are no big deal. One step towards making cyborgs and Iron Man's reactor.

i thought that first one was kinda common sense, cause that would be a part of how evolution works

you have a specific diet, that means that a certain type of food is more readily available to you, so your children become more and more adapted to eating said food

just makes sense to me, so i don't see why its considered a big enough study to warrant being placed on this list

It's called Ununseptium, bro. It's been known for a long time, but just confirmed. It's hard to confirm the existence of super heavy elements, which is why there are blank images for them on the periodic table.

i was doubtful about the new element but here you go if others are as well www.newscientist.com/article/dn25517-elusive-element-117-now-closer-to-periodic-table-glory.html#.U2aexPldWPk

A comment under the brain board:
As long as it doesn't share the Human ability to make idiotic decisions, I'm well excited about the prospects.
