Quote from wikipedia: "A decade and a half older than the sisters, Braasch was described by one journalist as "a man whose training regime centred around a pack of cigarettes and more than a couple bottles of ice cold lager.""

Can anyone name a serious sport (that people actually care about) in which women on average are better than men?

Hint:
You can't.

Williams sisters are not Billie Jean King.
In 1972 Bobby Riggs claimed that any man professional player can defeat any woman, no matter how good, and challenged Margaret Court who was #1 player in the world.
He won.
Year after that he was challenged by Billie Jean King probably america's best female player of all times.
She crushed him 3-0
I guess Williams sisters developed a delusion they are as good as Billie Jean.

To be fair, Braasch was ranked around ~ 30 in his earlier carreer, so he was no mediocre player.
But he was also 15 years older than them and heavy smoker and drinker.

How does that matter? Doesn't mean **** even if he was ranked #1 previously, being the best in the world or the worst in the world 15 years ago if you're #203 today and are playing a game today, all that matters is how good you are today.

Buy some logic good sir.

Is the difference between men and women sports that big? I mean I occasionally watched tennis and women vs women didn't look that much worse or less intense than men vs men.

Men typically have wider shoulders than women, which is perfect for tennis. With the same training, they'll always have the advantage. That's just biology.

People need to just understand that men are physically stronger and better at sports than women, I mean it's not a fair fight since we're destined to from birth.

Men and women aren't equal, it's a fact, I'm not even saying who is better overall, just that we aren't equal.

Well, to be fair, Serena and Venus Williams were 16 and 17 years old respectively
