It was a good film, though not as freaky as others made it out to be.
To anyone interested in watching this, DO NOT watch the English version. The voice acting is terrible, go with the German or even French version.
Also, I would recommend you guys look up Ralph Bakshi if you're looking for more adult oriented animation. Just don't watch Cool World.

cactaur [OP](03/11/2015) [-] I will agree it's not as bad as it was played to be but I will say if I saw this as a kid, I'd probably be a little messed up by it.
As for the English dub. Ehhhh, I don't think it's bad but when I found out it was made in Germany, it kind of made sense how it felt awkward at times. Although, to me, it didn't effect the overall feel of the story.

I was a pretty big weenie when I was a kid (I cried when I saw the vampire episode of Scooby Doo), so I can see how the film would mess with kids.
As for the voice acting, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree because I thought the English voice acting was pretty bad.

I enjoyed it, but I really didn't think it was that gory of a movie. I was a bit worried because I love cats, but luckily the animation was so unrealistic that it didn't really bother me. Also, was it supposed to be in German? Did I miss that?
