Funny. Hondas and Acuras here are too ******* expensive second hand. American engineering on the other hand is cheaper and way more affordable and and have more power than ****** imports. Proof? 2.2 ecotec stock can kick Talon, Integra and civic vagina. Also, my '05 sunfire starts up in -42 weather like a ******* charm, without the block heater warming it up.

Most second hand imports can be a pain in the ass because the dumbass owner tried to modify the engine themselves or bought ****** aftermarket parts. Unmolested, the average japanese car will go well over 400,000 kms with the usual upkeep. My dad had a Mercury Villager (Nissan Quest) since 94'. We had to scrap it because the frame was ****** up by the 15+ years of Canadian winter and it wasn't worth the money to fix it.

Hey, this guy is implying imports are reliable, but all I here from my friends and ricers are 3500$ in damage repairs, **** fuel mileage and what not, where I drive in a straight line with perfect steering and not even worry about fuel mileage.

I suppose attitude will cause problems, so it's more human stupidity than the actual manufacturers fault, because import-drivers try to be ricers, and then the faggots who try to get included drive the american cars, and **** them up. I also don't spin my tires or rev past 3,000 RPM for each shift.

That's what I'm saying though. My truck is as old as I am, and the only maintenance I've had to do on it was replace some rusted body panels. It still runs reliably and it's got around 180k miles on the odometer.

My sunfire has 309000 Kilometers on it, and I only had to replace the stock battery, which was a 5 year, but lasted for 8 years and over 300000Km. Other than that, it was a highway vehicle and probably drives better and looks better than most cars in the 100,000-200,000 KM range.

Right on. Being English, I've always been partial to British made cars, along with most other European cars, they are actually much better built. Sure Honda's are reliable as all hell, but it's still... just a Honda. I like American muscle. Things you can actually take apart, work on, and put back together in one day without the aid of a computer ha.

American Muscle = Sex. Although newer designs are a bit lame. I've only really considered late 80's Camaros/firebirds simply because the Sunfire had a reminiscent body design towards them. However I'm not one to spend money. I've got a relatively large nose for being a ukrainian/frenchie, and the nose is probably why I ******* love holding onto my money.

YUS. I mean... LOOK AT IT. That's the engine in my green lincoln. But I agree, the newer styles are just... trying too hard. I got my mustang because that was my favourite body style, original muscle car lines, but with modern appliances. I do miss my money, however... but totally worth it.

Oh well, I suppose it's a good trade off for fuel economy nowadays. It's actually nice being able to have a commuter for real cheap then pour money into a nice classic.

My sunfire is decent in winter. Then again I only do city driving and drive slow as **** . The only downside is 4 cylinders do not make good heaters.
