We were really ****** good from 2001-2007 and had one more shot at greatness in 2012 but now we've just hit a slump because we recruit in the top 10 every year but always lose at least 2 games that we have no business losing at least on paper . We have some of the best athletes in the country but consistently underachieve every year and things are only going to change once Mark Richt resigns. The problem with that is that it is very unlikely that we'll get a coach that can start making a difference right away like Jim McElwain has for Florida or Jim Harbaugh for Michigan. More than likely we would end up "rebuilding" for the next ten years like Tennessee has since they got rid of Phillip Fulmer.

Partly because Nebraska can't get good recruiting classes because no one wants to come play in snowy cold cornfields in ******* nowhere (or at least thats the perception of Nebraska). But our 90's team were never good rated recruiting classes, and the 95 team is the consensus best team in college football history hands down. 97 team is top 5.

Ndamikong Suh donated like 3 mil to our weightroom when he graduated and everytime I go in there its like a futuristic crazy place. Our facilities are top notch because we don't care about anything else in this state.
