This could have gone better... nah!

I work in game development and this is what it looks like when you try to make a game... little side note: we have been working for month and a half now fot 10 hours a day, plus weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and this is what it feels like. Good thing i have digging ditches as a hobby. When you have a plan and deadlines this is what exactly what you get.

advice from a fellow game dev...

if you are already in what is considered crunch time this early.... Redo your planning as it's a non realistic one, or redo the scope of the project and remove features.
You cannot finish a project in that state and deliver quality + the effects on your health are not worth it.

It won't take long until you get edgy and angry at eachother, and the dreaded burn out will follow. I have been there with my third project i was working on and from fellow devs i've heard the same stories.

Crunch time should never be permanent, it should be needed when hitting important milestones like first alpha, first playtest, first beta, public showcase, release...

ah we are well passed the edgelord angerfest. Now we are all good now. The thing is we do not have alfa or beta, we playtest all the time, now it is going to the QA part of development. It is all numb now, but it will pass. I had crunch times but this was intense.
