correct me if im wrong but according to my math its almost 5000 years. I took the time of the ride and divided it by 10 to convert it to days which would get 1,820,298 in game days then divide that by 365( excluding leap years) the resut would be 4,987.11781in game years without leap days.
If my personal hell was to sit on an annoyingly slow roller coaster for eternity, that wouldn't really be that bad, I think, dood. At least it's not as bad as swimming in a boiling lake or having to push a boulder up a mountain all the time, all I'd have to do is sit there and be really bored.
The game could have been such an amazing game, still game of the year for me, but damn was it dissapointing. I think they had Skull Face there because he was always there, giving Big Boss back up before all this happened.
Naw, he didn't blow it on coke and hookers. He blew it on expensive dinners with Stefanie Joosten. Which I can't blame him. Also hate the approach Kojima did with a silent protaganist. Keifer was a pretty good choice for voice, but give him more mang.
Kiefer Sutherland was ******* perfect for Big Boss, I would've loved a long speech so I could masturbate more to that sexy baritone voice.
**** , he fit perfect for BB but Kojima tried to get that Joosten poosy, so he couldn't pay Kiefer.
That makes me sad, considering the only real speech he did was the ashes scene.
It was such a good mission also. Way more impactful than The Boss fight in MGS3. That last moment with them saluting. I really wished they had like 6 more months of developments or something. Skull Face was so under used and his voice was so amazing aswell.
It was sad, it was damn sad, when they stood their, saluting to the Peace Walker theme.
I'm not the type of man to cry, only a select few things have made me cry, and the Boss fight made me choke up.
Nothing in the Metal Gear series has made me choke up quite like that.
But the ending to MGS2 ****** me up. Really bad. Especially when the Colonel started spouting that random nonsense, I actually got a bit spooked, and it turned out that nearly everything in Raiden's life was a lie.
I guess it is a bit of a stretch of being more impactful, but I felt that feeling inside, which was despite being a game, I felt bad doing it. There was tons wrong with the game. Hopefully, Kojima's next game, he isn't too ambitious.
Skullface and Venom never talked to each other. I wanted that, and ******* punch his face while his has his dukes up, not when he's fallen and can't get up.
Another thing, Eli was dissapointing. I was hoping for more banter. Liquid was going on about how Big Boss hated him, and a over asshole, but I never saw any of that.
I think Liquid traveled into the past, and ****** his little boy self, thereby making double liquid and then more liquids come into the past and solid breaks liquid but more liquid means more liquid and stick win every time

ehh, i'd rather be in constant agony than be constantly bored, cause atleast burning alive or being tortured is interesting and gives me something to think about, but i guess we all have our own special kinds of hell
People say that all the way up until getting a cattle prod shoved up their ass for eternity and then I'll bet they'd really like to just be nothing for a while, dood
nah man, pain has always been fascinating to me, the ability to dampen it just through mental focus, filtering the anger that comes from it, utilizing the energy and adrenaline for practical purposes, it's all just very intriguing. i mean, maybe you're right, and after a while it would get annoying, but i guess it's just hard to rap my mind around the concept of infinity well enough to quantify it
You have something to what you're saying. In hell the deepest circles are not of fire, but ice. Fire is a luxury of change and feeling. It's a stigma on your brain that may be a negative. But we can all learn to appreciate pain. Ice on the other hand numbs you. You don't feel anything at all. Your nerves are frozen and your skin is turned to crystal. At the very beginning there is agony but then it fades into a boring abyss of time.
Or perhaps you haven't felt enough finite pain to appreciate it properly.
Take the train ride, hurt yourself at will if you must but stay the **** away from eternal pain.

Nah mate, being in constant agony is not cool. Trust me, it can generally just suck nuts when you are in constant pain. I had part of my spine fused which basically means that instead of 8 vertebrae it is basically one I still get a lot of pain even though my first surgery was 2011 with a second revision surgery in nov last year. Until just recently i was living on about 3 hours of sleep a day, this sleep was not in one block it was broken up over about a 6-7 hour period, I would be constantly waking up just due to the extreme levels of pain. Its much easier to say if you don't go through it. I haven't even had my chronic pain for that long in terms of pain (around 5 years now). Rather sit there bored out of my ****** mind than sit here trying to drug up to such an extent my brain can't even send the pain signals.
As for your next post 110, you can dampen pain but honestly as soon as you get to a certain point trying to dampen it is just pointless, it won't be happening regardless of how much you want it or will it.
No. In hell you work as the operator of that ride. You have to stand at the button and press it every 210 days. You're not allowed to sleep on the job. You're not allowed to sit. You don't even get the relaxation of riding the ride.
And the worse part, you have to deal with the customers.
There is no Heaven....
There is no Hell....
There is no relief....
All is not well....
There is no forgiveness....
There is no heel....
There is no freedom....
Only the Wheel....
Some things are thought of, not to be real
Too cruel to be made, no one should feel
The wheel has started, don't run and hide
All aboard children, the most wild ride
So... you're interested in creating the longest possible ride path at the slowest possible speed. Ok.
Well first of all I should point out that the OC does not result in the longest possible ride time, for one simple reason... it's all only on one level.
In RCT, you can stack ride track on top of other ride track, so long as it doesn't interfere with it. Usually all that means is that the next level of track has to be 2 height units above the first. So, what really matters is not using up all of the available park space in the largest possible park, but rather using all of the possible build volume. See where I'm going with this?
So here is what you need to do to get the longest possible ride time.
- Create a park of the max possible size (as in the OC)
- Raise the land height to the max possible level (so that you can also build underground)
- Have a spiraling path layout, as in the OC, but have the termination point at an edge (not exactly sure how to do with with a rollercoaster because the minimum turning radius is 2 tiles, so you might have to redesign the path)
- Use a roller coaster that let's you build to the greatest height (Gigacoaster)
- For each new level, do what the OC does, chain up to the next level, then break down to the minimum speed.
It's been a while since I played, and I don't have the game installed, but I *think* you could do something like 80 layers of the OC in one ride, which would take about 16,000 real life days to finish, which would be about most of the rest of the life of the player, or about 384,000 in-game years. Of course the game might not even accept such a model (might crash), nor would it be possible to construct without some kind of script.
Oh, and the ride speed does not asymptotically approach zero. It reaches a minimum threshold of about 1mph to "avoid problems".
I... can't remember where I read it, but someone reasoned that hell could never be the terrifying place we imagine it because humans grow tolerance by design. That and we fetishize everything, so there will always be at least one guy who finds even hell's most depraved punishments arousing.
Except that's not how it works. Hell is to you, not to all. If Lucifer is as bad of a guy as he's pegged to be, he will ensure Hell is personal to all of its inhabitants, and that nobody can fetishize or enjoy anything. Jus someting to tink aboot.
Pic related. It's from Wayne Barlowe's series on Hell. Super cool ideas, super good art.
OOOOOO if you like that you should give the book "For Love of Evil" By Piers Anthony a read or at least check out the sparknotes on it. The book's ******* fantastic. You learn that Lucifer really isn't all that bad of a guy. He's just doing a job that has to be done. The series that it's in (Incarnations of Immortality) has an Over-arching plot that is just wicked once you see it all.
There are things that we can tolerate on this Earth that I'm sure we couldn't tolerate elsewhere, especially in higher proportions. We can't tell what's on other planets or other galaxies, and we can't tell what truly goes down in Hell. There's always an air of mystery that prevents us from ever being entirely tolerant or ignorant, and that's where we'll fail. Just my two cents, at least.
This is wrong in the sense that the singer is not Antonella Ruggiero. This performance is done by the 'Daughters of Mary'. If their website is to be believed, they sing lots of hymns.
It's religious stuff. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the lyrics if religious stuff bothers ya.
No. You're not allowed to listen to anything religious because religion is for dumb non-smarterererrer people like us m8. Go die in a ditch, you ignorant, religious, cunt biscuit.
I think I made a retarded mistake, I thought that if you do that it gives the people a mention. They asked for the source so I tried to link them to it.
