That picture just reminds me that anything sort of good that just needs a little tune up to become great will get scrapped by DC/ Warner Bros because it wasn't a smash hit from the start. (Talking about Infinite Crisis basically League with DC characters)

Teen Titans canceled and ****** TTGO put in its place was just an insult

The Starfire of the animated show is the only Starfire that's actually worth a damn. She's an actually interesting female character with personality and depth and pathos, and not just a mindless "what is this Earth thing called 'love' " slut who ***** anybody that moves.

You watch Starfire in the cartoon, and then read the official comic Starfire, and it's disgusting.

And the animated Raven is quite literally the only Raven I will ever accept as being canon, because the comic Raven is a tiresome, shallow, two dimensional sociopathic edgelord who flips a coin every week to decide if she's one of the good guys or if she's going to betray everyone she knows and try to destroy the world. She's betrayed everyone so many times, even Superman got sick of her **** . Do you have any idea how much it takes to make Superman write you off as a lost cause? Kal still debates with Luthor that he can turn over a new leaf, but Raven? Not even a discussion, never to be trusted, banned from ever being a member of the Justice League or any affiliated teams ever again. And with entirely good reason. I'd probably do the same thing.

Much like Starfire, the animated Raven has actual pathos and personality, and more importantly, is consistant in her motivations and attitudes.

Also, animated Cyborg > comic Cyborg. He doesn't need the overly complex backstory he has in the comics. The animated version is plenty interesting on it's own.

The cartoon distilled and vastly improved the characters, and did interesting things with them. It is a huge step up from what the comics do, which is low-brow low-hanging fruit where Raven is more of an excuse to have a villain if the writers can't think of anything, Starfire is a pair of tits that dispenses fanservice and blowjobs while still not being entirely clear on what "clothes" are, and Cyborg is, by an large, an angsty tryhard.

It's a real shame they discontinued the cartoon for this wannabe moeblob anime **** . I still honestly believe to this day that if somebody wants to get into the Titans, they should just watch the cartoon and skip the comics entirely, because most of them are garbage.

ok first off starfire is a shallow orange tit alien because she was meant to be a throw away plot device but teenage fans likes her for obvious reasons so she stayed in

second raven was complex she had a literal demon on her shoulder and when push comes to shove would do the right thing and as for your comment on superman if you where talking 40s-late 50s superman then you would have a point but superman after the newspaper was very easy to tick off i mean for **** sakes he hated shizam mostly because he was a less **** version of him that could take down a super powered criminal without destroying half the city in the process

and as for cyborg ***** do you even read comics ... you cant make it through **** loads of issues without having a complicated storyline
it starts simple then progressively gets more ****** up which is why they keep comic universes short now instead of having the same story line span 30 years like they use to

and last of all you are forgetting THE NEW TITANS IS A SHOW FOR SMALL CHILDREN NOT ADULTS YOU CANNOT JUDGE IT BASED UPON A SHOW MEANT FOR TEENAGERS in my opinion the comics where better they had interesting storylines that crossed over to major events in comic history such as the death of THE DOOM PATROL
