What you said would be valid if he was in the green. People get so mad over things that they are passionate about and he used that to his advantage.
levvy been doing the complete polar unlikable opinion on posts of different topics for almost about a year, you'd think about now about most of you's have learnt by now.
The best part is I hid his comments completely, I can't even see them.
Literally the only reason I know he commented is because of the asshole's giving him attention in the form of "This is bait" and "Are you even trying?" comments.
Levy take solace in the fact if i could i would remove all your limbs, cut off all sensory organs, Hook you up to an IV drip and have a rat crawl around your rectum for the 2 weeks of agonizing pain whilst you attempt vocalize it in fruitless efforts after i lacerated your vocal cords. Just remember this is what **** posters deserve. PS i wanna hurt you
would definitely go to jail killing a **********
People keep saying that Teen Titans ended with a cliffhanger, but I never noticed one. Are they talking about the whole Terra thing? I just never got it.
Well... I'm feeling hopeful, actually. If they do this, it's pretty clear they know about all those people who want the old show back. Just maybe we could get 6 season, or loose sequel for the first show, with different animation style and character design, older Titans and more mature humor and themes, kind of like Young Justice.
You either die as a good series or live long enough to become stale and horrible.
Your pic related. My favorite shows (Arrested development, Futurama) were great and got cancelled early. I'm fine with it, though, because it could then remain untainted Ignoring the years-old new episodes. Just didn't have the same magic.
They did it with the Batman: The Brave and the Bold series too.
This reality changing Batman fan named Batmite appeared in the final episode deciding he wanted a more serious Batman show. So the whole episode was just him purposly making the show worse and worse, by warping reality, until the executives decided to cancel it(all of this happened in show).
Pic related, some of his changes to cancel the show.
but he ended up praising several points of the show, stating that there were several really solid episodes.
What was meant to occur was Beware the Batman, however the Cinema Shooting occured, then you had to do lots of revised scripts since well the killer dun goofed the production, so what you would have had was literally animated Daredevil/90s bats albeit slightly less violent but everything hit the wall so everything got scaled back, series went on hiatus, bombed in the ratings then got cancelled.
I know the series is aimed at little kids, but plenty of little kids watched and loved the original, myself included. Just because it's funny doesn't mean it can't also be serious. With all the mindless shows they already have, it'd be good to have a more serious one. It could teach kids to enjoy good storytelling, like it did with me. Really, why shouldn't a show aimed at kids still have a fleshed-out story?
Because a fleshed-out story and good animation requires a lot of dedication and hard work, which in turn costs a lot of money. In the eyes of the studio execs (and to some extent animators), it's easier to shovel out mountains of half-assed throwaway gags and 1-dimensional plots, than to spend extra time and resources to make something really worthwhile. Teen Titans Go isn't made out of any respect for the original series, it is just a way to make a quick buck by rehashing an older title that has nostalgia value. It's not meant to cater to the original fans, it's meant to cater to the new generation that wasn't actually around for the original series, but has heard of how good it was from their parents and older siblings.
**deckbox used "*roll picture*"** **deckbox rolled image**but TTG HAS got good writing, several episodes have proven that time and time again, it is very far removed from one dimensional horse **** like gumball or johnny test, the jokes are very on point and awesome at making examples of the nerds that still have hardons for the old show
The only problem is that I haven't seen those good ones because the prior bad ones turned me away from the show already. It could have a good episode but I don't care enough to give it a chance.
That picture just reminds me that anything sort of good that just needs a little tune up to become great will get scrapped by DC/ Warner Bros because it wasn't a smash hit from the start. (Talking about Infinite Crisis basically League with DC characters)
Teen Titans canceled and ****** TTGO put in its place was just an insult
The Starfire of the animated show is the only Starfire that's actually worth a damn. She's an actually interesting female character with personality and depth and pathos, and not just a mindless "what is this Earth thing called 'love' " slut who ***** anybody that moves.
You watch Starfire in the cartoon, and then read the official comic Starfire, and it's disgusting.
And the animated Raven is quite literally the only Raven I will ever accept as being canon, because the comic Raven is a tiresome, shallow, two dimensional sociopathic edgelord who flips a coin every week to decide if she's one of the good guys or if she's going to betray everyone she knows and try to destroy the world. She's betrayed everyone so many times, even Superman got sick of her **** . Do you have any idea how much it takes to make Superman write you off as a lost cause? Kal still debates with Luthor that he can turn over a new leaf, but Raven? Not even a discussion, never to be trusted, banned from ever being a member of the Justice League or any affiliated teams ever again. And with entirely good reason. I'd probably do the same thing.
Much like Starfire, the animated Raven has actual pathos and personality, and more importantly, is consistant in her motivations and attitudes.
Also, animated Cyborg > comic Cyborg. He doesn't need the overly complex backstory he has in the comics. The animated version is plenty interesting on it's own.
The cartoon distilled and vastly improved the characters, and did interesting things with them. It is a huge step up from what the comics do, which is low-brow low-hanging fruit where Raven is more of an excuse to have a villain if the writers can't think of anything, Starfire is a pair of tits that dispenses fanservice and blowjobs while still not being entirely clear on what "clothes" are, and Cyborg is, by an large, an angsty tryhard.
It's a real shame they discontinued the cartoon for this wannabe moeblob anime **** . I still honestly believe to this day that if somebody wants to get into the Titans, they should just watch the cartoon and skip the comics entirely, because most of them are garbage.
ok first off starfire is a shallow orange tit alien because she was meant to be a throw away plot device but teenage fans likes her for obvious reasons so she stayed in
second raven was complex she had a literal demon on her shoulder and when push comes to shove would do the right thing and as for your comment on superman if you where talking 40s-late 50s superman then you would have a point but superman after the newspaper was very easy to tick off i mean for **** sakes he hated shizam mostly because he was a less **** version of him that could take down a super powered criminal without destroying half the city in the process
and as for cyborg ***** do you even read comics ... you cant make it through **** loads of issues without having a complicated storyline
it starts simple then progressively gets more ****** up which is why they keep comic universes short now instead of having the same story line span 30 years like they use to
and last of all you are forgetting THE NEW TITANS IS A SHOW FOR SMALL CHILDREN NOT ADULTS YOU CANNOT JUDGE IT BASED UPON A SHOW MEANT FOR TEENAGERS in my opinion the comics where better they had interesting storylines that crossed over to major events in comic history such as the death of THE DOOM PATROL
Temmie would not approve of your shenanigans anon. And believe me she'll voice her opinion on it. There's a temmie account and I'm summoning her to comment on this anon's shenanigans.
There's one thing I don't understand, are you Tem? Or a temmie? cuz when temmies talk about themselves they say "temmies" unless they are talking about Tem, the shopkeeper. Because "tem is very famus", so much they made a statue. You always say "Tem" when talking about yourself, but your username is just temmie. So who are you?
Well, you seem to think Undertale involves furry porn, or at least something close to furry porn, so you obviously haven't touched its content. If you had played it or seen clips of it, then sure, go ahead, judge it all you want. But it's clear that you haven't done any of that, so don't strut around acting like you know what you're talking about and getting angry when no one thinks your opinion matters. It took me a while to type this. I swear to god, if this is bait...
Isn´t this all about them not having enough budget?
EVERYONE LISTEN UP! Is it possible to donate money to them to acually REBOOT the TEEN TITANS? Or is just not on the map?
I don't hate themed accounts, I actually enjoy postingloudly, but....How does your comment differ from a regular comment? It doesn't sound like Papyrus it sounds like the average user. And that's not the first time I felt that way about you.
The creators of TT GO hadn't even watched the old show at all when they started... idk if thet's changed now but still... I remember seeing them in an interview saying "Oh I've seen a couple of episodes, it's a good show." And the other guy saying "No I haven't seen any of the old show".
From my understanding, the majority of other actors applying to replace Steve who left because of health concerns, I think? had a great admiration or liking of Blue's Clues. While you raise a valid point; it is more or less just a kids' show, who would care or notice, right? Why would the best one for the job need to know or watch Blue's Clues.
It was just relevant to me. The passing of a torch is significant to me at least, and in my opinion, if you are going to carry on a legacy, you should have some respect or knowledge of what you are carrying.
From what I understand, Papyrus is supposed to be happy-go-lucky, which implies that without great provocation. Therefore, in saying you hate the show the way you do, you've broken your theme by acting within an atypical personality type. That's a BAD themed account, BAD! Get back into character before I tell Sans that you're on the internet again
Please don't
Undertale is great and I loved it, but jesus christ if I'd waited another day I'm pretty sure I'd have gotten no enjoyment from it because people never shut up.
So....that's it, right? There's nothing else more for this show? There isn't anything after this? There shouldn't be anything after this. This show has reached critical ******* mass. They've finally reached a level of cliched ********* that's so ******* meta that there's practically no more substance to it. Jesus Christ this is the most pathetic thing I've seen from this show. I can tolerate the cringey dialogue, the HORRIBLY cliched plot lines, and the not-so-subtle jokes against the shows haters, mainly because i try not to give a **** , but blatantly referring to the old show and being so frontal about the hate for the new one pretty much CRUSHED this shows legitimacy and merit. Seriously, do the writers understand just how much they're shooting themselves in the foot for good ratings? I don't know if the writers are just ******* with us or if they're purposefully breaking the fourth wall so ******* much just to deliberately TELL the haters to **** OFF by saying "Oh we knooow how bad our show is! Oh we messed up sooooo baaaad with this show! We heeeear your cries of displeeeeasement! We're moooonsters for canceling the old, good show!!"
I'm in such disbelief, I seriously didn't think this show would sink so low. This is unbelievable.
TT Go is another show that forgets the difference between PARODY and REFERENCE.
<Example: Beast Boy. Original a kind of comic relief trying to keep **** together with comedy, acting as a little brother kind of character development and real personality.
TT Go BB is an annoying jackass who spouts pop culture references and that stupid ass "random humor", the same kind that ruined Deadpool.
But do most people know Deadpool as Deadpool or Deadpool as an internet meme?
This is what has me fearful for the movie I hope they don't cater to Deadpool The Meme because that's how most people know him and that's how they can be sure they'll get more people in a theater
No, it's a poor, pathetic attempt of an apology though self-depreciation.
If I ever cringed in this website it was nothing compared to what I am feeling right now.
You act as though this show is targeted at people your or my age, which it's not. Saying they "shot themselves in the foot" really doesn't make sense because, in reality, they can make whatever kind of joke that they please just as long as it makes small children laugh. This is one of CN's most popular shows, and them making a joke referencing the original won't change anything.
You people freak out over literally everything, jesus.
Some of it is because of die hard adult fans that's for sure, but the biggest reason is because ****** shows are easier to write off and produce for because no one wants to touch it and therefore have a longer runtime than other, genuinly good shows (Teen Titans, Beware the Bat, Young Justice, etc)
Also, parents see something like this and want it on the air more than other shows because of what they THINK children would like.
Compare that to shows like Steven Universe and Adventure Time that appeal to a humoginized, bland and hipster audience because of it's progressiveness and it's too "good" (read: risky) to throw off the air.
Take that and the aforementioned " ****** shows are easier to produce for" thing I mentioned earlier and you get something along the lines of TT Go, a show that rides on the coat tails of a good show to lampoon it's *********** . Granted there is no concrete answer, but this explains why shows like this last as long as they do.
"It was the #1 kids program of the day on basic cable among boys 2-11, 6-11, 9-14 and male teens. It also ranked #1 in its time period among kids 2-11 and 6-11 as well as boys 2-11, 6-11, 9-14 and male teens. It also did better in its time slot than its competitors on Nickelodeon and Disney XD by double- and triple-digits among the shows key demos of kids 6-11 and boys 6-11.
There are more numbers from NHI Galaxy Explorer, Live+Same Day U.S. AA rating. Teen Titans Go! had more than two million viewers. Among boys 6-11, the rating score improved Cartoon Network's performance in that time slot by 117% versus the previous week."
I'm reminded of how every movie is the "#1 movie in America". They're lying.
I know that's hard to believe, but they're lying. Or at the very least exaggerating. These shows are created and last because this is what they think kid's want. Most kid's don't want TT Go or Spongebob (anymore)
I'm aware of the ratings, but they're not all true. Me not liking it is attributed to the fact that it's **** , not the other way around.
Statistics like these are usually exagerated and sometimes outright lies, you can't trust them all. Especially in cases like TT Go or Spongebob, riding the nuts of the former and the legacy of the latter.
It's brand recognition and as long as it's here of course it's viewer ratings will go up. The quality of the show and the masses opinions do not reflect this.
Where are your sources that they are false? Saying that they could be lies is a very weak argument, and it won't persuade many people when there are multiple sources that show the contrary.
I'll give you that Spongebob definitely has brand recognition, but TTG doesn't. Spongebob has been airing nonstop for I don't even know how long now, and it has come out with season after season. TT, on the otherhand, only had a few seasons and a fairly large gap between it and TTG, so the ones that are watching TTG were either too young to watch it or weren't even born yet while it was airing.
The only brand recognition that the TT cartoon franchise has is with people our age (the ones who grew up with it), not with those that currently watch TTG.
How exactly is TTG more popular than Spongebob? You should've realized how ******** that sounds on your own. TTG more popular than Spongebob... That's insane.
If I'm not mistaken, those numbers only reflect when the episodes are first aired, not constant viewership. Of course when Spongebob comes out with a new episode, it's likely to have more people watching. Like it's already been stated, Spongebob DOES have brand recognition plus nick hypes that **** up with promos so much
The aricle I provided was posted on February 2015, when Spongebob was on hiatus. TTG was still pumping out episodes then. It makes sense that TTG would be more popular at the time.
I never said that I thought TTG was more popular than Spongebob. I only posted that link to support my claim that TTG is in fact a thriving children's television program.
Nope. That's not how it works. My little siblings love that show. If anything, parents want these kind of shows down and would rather see them on Animal Planet or something
Sometimes I go to cartoon network in hopes of watching steven universe or adventure time. Every single ******* time either teen titans go or we bare bears is on. **** those shows
I think We Bare Bears is a half decent show at the very least, not on the same level as SU or AT, but watchable if nothing else is on Definitely better then TT Go, without a question
With that gif, I figured you were injecting increased amounts of coffee into your system so I had to read everything faster and faster. Why you do dis to me?
I believe they adopt an old Samurai Tradition. They have lost all their Honor and they know their time will come so they will shove the sword into their own hand into their chest and ''try'' to die Honorably.
I'm thinking maybe they continue where they left off in the 6 season with the old animation and story...it is a man right to dream isn't it?
Is like every Halloween like nov 5 or something they make a new episode.I think is the only excitement i got from Halloween nowadays if you go to
You need to login to view this link
they got hellsing OVA dubbed version every episode.
- Entire episode is a ******* musical
- Poorly paced
- Contradicting plot points
- A character mentioned to be super famous for his magical skill couldn't finish a spell, but since she did she got to become an alicorn for some reason
- Twilight Sparkles acting so high and might in gif related
Don't get me wrong, I seriously DONT CARE for this show. Im not often passionate about my opinions against shows, especially cartoons. I just cant stand when writers are so whatever with their material. As a writer myself, i try to study narratives and plot lines from movies, television shows and novels so I can learn how to be clever and original with my writing. When I see self-referential humor and blatant pandering to specific audiences, whether these audiences hate or love the material, thats when my gears start a'grindin. I understand its just for kids, but much more intelligent and clever material has been made for younger audiences.
I believe Maximilian_dood said it best
"You can tell a story with pretty much anything, you just have to try"
To reiterate what you said, just because the show is targeted towards kids DOES NOT mean you have to dumb it down.
Self referential humor i havent bothered even watching TTG because fuq dat **** so i dont know what it does can be funny though, just look at Red Dwarf.
Thanks Tito, my thoughts exactly, TTGO is another show with different jokes just borrowing characters.
I just like seeing how everyone gets uptight and rages just because they are using characters from an older, better show. Because, you know, that has never happened before.
If you wanna watch, watch it and don't expect it to be like the old one, don't like what they did to the characters? don't watch and hope for a reboot.
It was more dissapointment for some of us since we knew it was coming, But it was so half assed and made the whole 'Literally Godhorse' concept at the beginning dead. I heard they made some more importance to it later on, But honestly it was such a sour taste in my mouth after a terrible season.
It's perhaps the only show I had that happened so poorly when I saw stuff like Xiolin Showdown use the importance of the levels to great effect and the build up to it. But then again, It was made to sell toys and that is what the blind masses who still stuck with it will buy. And they will buy the Baby alicorn they throw in next season.
It more than just a mere cartoon. And now is dead..no worse is brought back as an abomination a mangled corpse and it mock itself.this is a whole new level of low.
To be brutally honest i never watch the new crap that is the new teen titan is just knowing that something like that exist burn fire within me.And another even greater terrible confession I umm,,,never finish watching every season of the teen titans but even so i enjoyed every bit of it
Think about this; would you have preferred a low-quality tryhard reboot,
or would you prefer that they accept that a proper reboot is impossible, and just mess around instead?
I much rather have the second option, so that the original world isn't bastardized with a poor sequel and have the story ruined.
But with today technology and so many great minds i believe a proper reboot will be possible hell I wait 10 years if i have too but i think is possible.
No, every reboot will fail because styles change, and writers evolve.
Sometimes recreating the same thing is difficult.
Even if it was mostly the same, the animation quality improvement would throw people off.
You know how people complain about every reboot.
''Sometimes recreating the same thing is difficult'' go tell that to Blizzard Entertainment they care so much for the environment they are literary recycling there old epxansion.
I mean warlords of draneor is like the start of warcraft 1..and now we got a burning legion expansion theme coming up..what next? Lich king2,0?
least this expansion got some interesting features.
I learn from my experience from blizzard to always look life in a positive eye and enjoy the smaller things.
Simple, don't acknowledge its existence.
The original world is unharmed in the original creator's head.
All this is, is just a mini series that brings your characters back from the grave one last time before being put away for good. They're already retired and senile, at least let them have their good last rambles.
I feel it's certainly nicer to have one more visit from the titans instead of having the franchise slashed so suddenly.
That's a big self awareness. I don't mind TT Go if they are like short skits after every Teen Titans episode, but if they are the main focus, it gets old really fast.
For some reason machine titans scares me more still.... don't forgeet the titan that can shapeshift into massive titany versions of animals, insects, and dinosaurs!
Fine, **** it. You want an explanation? Here!
Sure it's meant for kids but guess what? This show sucks even for kids. Things like Teen Titans and Courage the Cowardly dog and Iron Giant are all great pinnacles of animation quality that made kids think more than usual when watching a cartoon or show. Teen Titans Go just wallows in its own joke world with no tender moments and only entertains with jokes. They seem cutout with jokes. like Joke B hoes here followed up by Joke A but many old shows presented them as a natural flow with their plot. It's like, why would you watch a show with no plot and only jokes when Youtube does it and you choose what you want to watch, whenever. A show can be for kids which is fine but let them fluidly explore what makes things great besides a joke that was a laugh or 2. Let them feel what comes naturally to them, not humor then laugh. Teen Titans did gag **** all the time but it made up for good action and characters that weren't as two sided as their animation was. People before explain what makes these characters unique but what I'm saying is not everything for kids has to be an automatic schlock to be brushed off to the side, that's how shows are forgotten and as much as I would like TTG to never be remembered, that would likely mean the end for Teen Titans as a whole. That's it for me, also, please everyone stop saying to lay off this show because it's for kids because it's as if your toys from back then are tossed into an incinerator to fuel a machine that makes ****** toys, and then someone coming up from behind and saying "Suck it up, they're not for you.". You feel anger despite you not playing with toys anymore.
You're not a child and you haven't heard their opinions. My brother is in middle school and he watches it/ talks about with his friends sometimes. Not to mention Cartoon Network advertises kids recording themselves with their iPhones about the show. IT'S FOR CHILDREN NOW. I watched the old series and liked it, I don't bitch and bawl over this crap.
Teen Titans was one of the shows I would get up early on Saturday to watch, which was when I was still a little kid. From what I have seen kid me would have found something else to do if the new version came on.
The target audience of the show doesn't seem to like it, either. Only audience that seems to approve of it are very young kids that weren't even born when the original was around.
they could get the budget in a heartbeat with the promised ratings from the viewers the main reason i think is cause they dont really know how to move the story forward
So, they finally realized that their show sucks balls, and now they think that throwing in 4th wall jokes makes everything acceptable? Why is this allowed?
Just watched this whole stupid ******* episode. The overall message is that they're gonna keep doing the same **** they are doing even if it's terrible. They're really sticking to their guns on this with no real justification.
so what was the point of this? making the viewers hate the show even more? thats just saying "oh yeah we ****** up big time but we won't fix the mistake."
You know what? It'll actually be worth it if they set this up just as a really elaborate way to bring the old Titans back. Like seriously. That would ******* rock.
In a way it feels like the writers method of slapping the fans in the face by saying yeah we know our show sucks and you want this version more but you can't have it so instead here's another season of GO
