...when? as far as I can tell the artist simply ignores the entire contents of the mouth unless required, and in that case the teeth are perfectly white. Screencap or GTFO

That's just the mouth. When animating he chose not to smooth the line on the right side. Just think of your senile grandma asking where her dentures are after gumming charcoal.
