Wait. People brush for 3 minutes?

I use an electric one for about 1 minute.

I used to brush for like 10-15 minutes straight... I was told that I would be damaging my teeth, so I try to finish cleaning my teeth within 3 minutes twice a day.

I just use a hammer and chisel to chip my bad teeth out. I call it dental Darwinism.

That's really bad. You can damage the enamel (outer layer of your teeth) which will increase your chances of tooth decay and sensitivity. It can also aggravate your gums and cause them to recede.
