Coins...
1,200 coins.
It's 6,000 cents
User avatar #80 to #51 - EpicWin (10/07/2013) [-]
Somebody posted the video for this last time It was on FJ and it was actually in Australia
User avatar #83 to #80 - psykobear ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
Ok.
But even in Austrailia, 100 cents makes one dollar, right?
So 1,200 cents would be $12, not $60 as the content says.
User avatar #89 to #83 - EpicWin (10/07/2013) [-]
Yeah... Not gonna lie, since Ive seen the video I didn't even bother reading the content. i was just saying because of the guys who said something about American coins... Guess I shouldn't replied to him. Sorry!
#90 to #89 - psykobear ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
No worries.
User avatar #60 to #51 - chuckbillrow (10/07/2013) [-]
hey i was just about to say that
#63 to #60 - warioteam (10/07/2013) [-]
And you are also not clever.
And you are also not clever.
User avatar #65 to #63 - chuckbillrow (10/07/2013) [-]
Its not about being clever its about pointing out an error because this is the internet and on the internet people point out errors
User avatar #67 to #65 - warioteam (10/07/2013) [-]
Yeah, but you are pointing out n error that wasnt made.
User avatar #75 to #67 - chuckbillrow (10/07/2013) [-]
* 'n
*wasn't
oh?
he paid with 1200 coins not 1200 cents, 1200 cents is 12 dollars
I did not point out the error because psykobear did and i felt like mentioning it for reasons of posterity and I'm feeling chatty this evening
User avatar #78 to #75 - psykobear ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
I already explained to him, he misunderstood the content.
User avatar #79 to #78 - psykobear ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
Or my comment, one of the two
#85 to #79 - chuckbillrow (10/07/2013) [-]
the content was wrong
he paid the ticket using some combination of 1200 nickels and dimes that totaled 60 dollars or 6000 cents
User avatar #88 to #85 - psykobear ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
Also, I know. My original comment was pointing out this mistake.
User avatar #87 to #85 - psykobear ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
But any combination of nickles and dimes would add up to more than $60.
1,200 nickles is $60, so replacing any of them with dimes would add up to more than $60
User avatar #91 to #87 - chuckbillrow (10/07/2013) [-]
i did not notice I was speaking to you and not the other guy... otherwise i would not have bothered with the picture, also did not do the math there but that only raises more questions.
the implication that dimes were used must be an additional mistake
User avatar #61 to #51 - warioteam (10/07/2013) [-]
Yeah, the penny is the only existing coin in America.
Just forget about the others.
User avatar #64 to #61 - psykobear ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
...
What?
If you were agreeing with me, but in a sarcastic way, sorry
#66 to #64 - warioteam (10/07/2013) [-]
No, I am indeed disagreeing with you.
Sarcastically.
There are nickles, dimes, and quarters too.
User avatar #68 to #66 - psykobear ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
Yes, that is really... really obvious.
But I said 1,200 coins.
The fine was $60.00
Sooooooooo, I knid of fucking know that there are more coins than pennies.
OP said 1,200 cents, when 1,200 cents is $12
The fine was $60.
Could you not?
User avatar #72 to #68 - slothton (10/07/2013) [-]
it was in 5c and 10c coins.
User avatar #73 to #72 - psykobear ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
Actually the content is wrong.
It says 1,200 coins were used.
The fine was $60 dollars
1,200 nickles is $60
So either no dimes were used, the fine was more than $60, or more than 1,200 coins were used.
eyke for the mention, maybe an explanation
User avatar #76 to #73 - slothton (10/07/2013) [-]
no, he asked for 1200 coins in nickels and dimes.
User avatar #81 to #76 - psykobear ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
...
dude.
If he got it in nickles AND dimes, it would add up to more than $60
The content also says that the fine was $60.
Since 1,200 nickles is $60, any dimes replacing nickles would increase the amount, thus running it above $60
User avatar #84 to #82 - psykobear ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
Okay then.
User avatar #74 to #73 - psykobear ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
Or rather, less than 1,200 coins
#70 to #68 - warioteam (10/07/2013) [-]
It seems I have shreked myself.
