Lol made it just for this? you mean the account? why don't you look at my profile page before trying to sound funny / smart.
#12 to #11 - kudo (10/06/2013) [-]
well, since you obviously ******* KNOW i didn't check your damn page, how bout you stop being a butthurt little ginger cunt about what i asked you and answer the damn question next time. i asked you if you made it just for this because of the obvious coincidence that someone actually has a freaking account named tender, while we're talking about money issues.

I just made it from front page to this post. I am upset now

Oi my bad m8 i thought you meant if i just made it today.
No, i actually made it to see what the freaks on this site would use it in context. 95% of the time im taken to the pony board and i see some ****** up posts. I tend to just ignore them nowadays.
#14 to #13 - kudo (10/06/2013) [-]
all good m8, can understand the misunderstanding, prolly went a little overboard with how i went about sayin what i did, sorry bout that.... and yeah, i can definitely believe hat, i spent some time with the ponies, went through the board on here a few times.... never again.

lol, understandable on the ignoring them **** , definitely ****** on the accounts getting banned though, dealt with that 2 or 3 times now, so i mostly just stopped commenting or putting anything up haha

it's still legal tender at that point ******* .... just cuz you don't want to count it doesn't mean you don't have
#100 to #4 - iyr ONLINE (10/07/2013) [-]
If the amount money it costs to pay an employee on an hourly wage to count coins/bills exceeds the profit gained from said transaction, the institution/business reserves the right to refuse that transaction; however, the debtor still needs to pay one way or the other.
In that isolated context, the coins loose their status as legal tender.

Yup past ten dollars it does.
#6 to #5 - kudo (10/06/2013) [-]
no, because unfortunately for you, no matter if it's pennies or quarters, or a hundred dollar bill, if all the currency is proven to be legal tender of the U.S., you are REQUIRED to take it. if, after 3 attempts to pay the debt with whatever tender is available, the debt remains unpaid, then the debt is considered repaid, and you don't get jack **** .
#36 to #6 - bibbity (10/07/2013) [-]
That's all well and good but this is 'straya cunt and we have rules about this sort of thing. Trying to pay sixty dollars in five and ten cent coins is illegal.
User avatar #59 to #36 - crazyhindu (10/07/2013) [-]
Is there a law saying this? If not its not ilegal.
#101 to #59 - bibbity (10/07/2013) [-]
Under the currency act of 1965 you can only pay up to five dollars with coins if using five, ten, twenty or fifty cent coins, and up to 10 times the face value of the coins if using one or two dollar coins. Beyond those amounts it's not considered legal tender.
User avatar #27 to #6 - kikisu (10/06/2013) [-]
I'm not sure but if you try to pay a 2$ charge with something like a 100$ bill they can refuse you, so it may be possible for it to apply in reverse.
#7 to #6 - hansjob (10/06/2013) [-]
still a dick move though
#8 to #7 - kudo (10/06/2013) [-]
oh, don't get me wrong, definitely a dick move, one i wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.... but fact is she's still gotta count all 60 bucks of it
