***** , there are 3 main human-races:

Caucasoid (whites)
Mongoloid (Asians)
Negroid (blacks)

There is no denying. Goddammit!

Asian is not a race. it is a geographical term.

Arabs are Asian, but are racially Caucasoid.

Chinese people are also Asian, but are racially Mongoloid. Ya dig?

But there's not? Where do abos go? They sure as hell ain't African Negroid. Where do dot Indians go? They sure as hell ain't Mongoloid. Where do American Natives go? They sure as hell ain't caucasoid. Those designations are so ******* vague as to be utterly useless.

There are many sub-races too.

I am Nordic and Alpine.

I look more Nordic. And my 2nd son, who is half Austronesian, looks more Alpine.

think you misspelt Faggot race

Why are Nords faggots? Because of what's going on in Sweden?

What do you mean there's no denying it? Those classifications are highly controversial.
For one thing, even people who accept that sometimes add "Australoid" as a fourth category which includes Australian Aboriginals, whose ancestors left Africa earlier than the ancestors of modern Asians or Europeans. Then, there are people who split it up further, distinguishing between north and south Asians, or European and Middle Eastern Caucasoids, or West and East Africans, etc. That's because classifications of this sort are inherently subjective, because there are no clear "dividing lines". Ultimately, what we understand as "race" is an ancient concept based first and foremost on perceived similarities in appearance and geographic origin, with the scientific terminology coming later in an attempt to justify what people already assumed to be true.

You might as well say "there is no denying" that there are 7 continents. But wait, who drew the dividing lines between Europe, Asia and Africa, which are actually a single landmass? Who decided that Greenland wasn't its own continent, but Australia was? Who decided whether the Americas are really just one continent called America? Humans did, not nature.

I always get mad when idiots refuse to believe me that Hawaii is in ******* Australia, not America...
User avatar #181 to #134 - nanako (11/10/2015) [-]
huh?

It seems to be geographically closer to north america, than to australia. And it is legally an american state. I'm not seeing what you mean here
User avatar #275 to #181 - Ruspanic (11/10/2015) [-]
It's pretty unusual to think of Hawaii as part of Australia/Oceania, but I suppose it's the same sort of deal as Greenland being in North America, despite politically being part of Denmark.
#198 to #181 - deutschblut (11/10/2015) [-]
Hawaii is no where near America. It is in Australia ;)

In all continental systems it remains constant.

There are over 20 countries in Australia. Do not forget that Australia is an Island nation, as well as a continent. Sometimes people call it "Oceania", because "Australia" confuses them. But Oceania is not really a continental designation.

Political designation is not relevant to continental. Greenland is European, but it is in North America. Among the 20+ countries, Australia has local nations, but parts of Australia are owned by Japan, the USA, UK, France, and so on. Part of France is in South America as well. Many nations have territories all over the world.

Cartography is one of my hobbies. I am a boring German.

Wilhelm (son #1) could draw the entire world map for you ;)

There are geographers that can argue all sort of crap about Australia/Oceania and so on. But this is how I learned it. There are scientist now that say we all came from ******* , so...

Australia is the purple continent in the bottom right. Hawaii is the island chain in the top left edge.

what about south america/mexico?
What about the middle east?
I'm probably like taking bait or missing a joke but still
User avatar #283 to #53 - deutschblut (11/10/2015) [-]
The Middle-East is white people.

South America was originally Asian.

Now about 75% or more of South America is white.

Mexico, though in North America, would likely be similar to South America.
User avatar #264 to #53 - sharklazers (11/10/2015) [-]
South americans are caucasian just darker skinned
Middle eastern people could be a mongoloid/caucasoid mix idk
#113 to #53 - anon (11/10/2015) [-]
Middle eastern are caucasiod and native american are mongoloid.
User avatar #90 to #53 - elenalkarnur ONLINE (11/10/2015) [-]
Those would be the Tacoid and Oiloid, respectively.

middle easterners are caucasoids

indigenous peoples of the americas are mongoloids

Latin America is a big mix of Caucasoids, Negroids and Native Americans

south america is still technically caucasoid
User avatar #284 to #54 - deutschblut (11/10/2015) [-]
South America is mostly white.

And about a quarter Asian.
#62 to #54 - warbringerii (11/10/2015) [-]
Found the Argentinian!
But seriously, Latin America does not look caucasoid, I know I am latin american
User avatar #95 to #62 - elenalkarnur ONLINE (11/10/2015) [-]
Latin America is not a monolith. Different Latin Amercan countries have different ethnic compositions between natives, European descendants (mostly conquistadors), blacks and hybrids.

Argentina is whiter than the USA.
#245 to #95 - warbringerii (11/10/2015) [-]
Of course Latin America is nowhere near homogeneity, even within countries, genetic difference is huge among regions.

I just saw the opportunity and did the joke
User avatar #63 to #62 - TheOriginalNerd (11/10/2015) [-]
then what would you like to be called

all the indigenous people had their genes ****** 3 times sideways by invaders
#67 to #63 - warbringerii (11/10/2015) [-]
In my case, I think caucasoid may be the "closest", but there still are pure indigenous. All jokes aside, are they mongoloid?
User avatar #73 to #67 - meganinja ONLINE (11/10/2015) [-]
The natives are. They came over from Asia.
