The maximum frame-rate possible for a GIF is 30, your GIF is an unfaithful representation of the comparison of frame-rates.

Umm... The 60fps ones for me are moving smoothly, while the 30fps ones are moving all jagged and **** ... I can see the freaking frames on them...

I think the OP is trying to make a point or a joke and just uploaded the same pic 4 times to see who pretends to see a difference
Or maybe I'm just tired, or the GIF is bad, or whatever

Here's a link to a thing that shows it better:

Either I can't brain today or everyone of those ball leaves a motion blur behind

If you have ever played a game on 60fps or higher that then drops to 30, you can clearly see a difference..

I can only see a slight difference for 30 w/o motion blur. the rest look the same

It annoys me when people say "you can only see at 30fps anyhow".

Its just ******** , you see different FPS depending on the situation, for example you can notice a single white screen flash on black screens at much more than slow ball movements.

There are so many different types of "seeing" that its impossible to give a single number for fps we see at

cover all the balls other than the one you're looking at. You'll notice slight differences when they're seperated

This picture is horrible. There is absolutely no difference between with and without motionblur if you pause at any frame. Also the balls are moving over a to short horizontal distance for this comparison to be viable. Try using a 1920 pixels wide image and the same comparison and you WILL see a big difference!!!

aren't most cameras in 30 fps? why is it that you don't see the skipping when you take a video in 30 fps?

My eyes hurt looking at 30 FPS

Maybe if you're looking at a gray ball moving back and forth, the difference isn't very noticeable.

But I guarantee that it's very, VERY noticeable if I'm playing GW2 (~60fps) and it drops down to 30.

Speed the Gif up to 45 FPS and you will notice a vast difference
User avatar #4 - voltkills (10/06/2013) [-]
there is a bigger difference, but in this gif your eyes see all the 60 fps balls even when looking at the 30fps ball, so its distored.
