whycanticaps (09/16/2015) [-] these books actually had a pretty dark story. If I remember right one of them dies, and the book that described the invasion of the worms on the planet with the aliens who have blades on their arms was sad as well.

Her husband even wrote an also quite grim book series about kids trapped in a town and everyone over 15 disappearing called "Gone".
