No one ever said Liberals, SJW's, Equal Rights Movements were intelligent. Can't really blame them considering the inaccurate history shoved down their throats.
That aside, It's all pointless now because people against the flag have gone full Cultural Cleanse mode like ISIS as they Take down Flags, Remove and Deface Memorials, Dig up Soldiers and their Wives(Really now?), Rename Streets, Rename Schools, and blast on the news how racist the south was when they don't even know this basic information about the history of the Confederate Cross or the Stars and Bars.
I won't be surprised when they get so OFFENDED like tumblerettes and demand the banning of Reenactments and demand the removal of anything confederate from museums so African Americans may have a peaceful day at the museum without getting triggered(Cause now everyone is fragile as a glass figurine.).
It won't stop there. It will keep going because erasing history, culture, and heritage is more important than solving real problems. Taking down the Confederate flag realistically ain't going to achieve anything. It's not going to fix communities. It's not going to stop gang violence. It's not going to make drugs disappear or solve poverty. It's just going to get people a feeling of pseudo satisfaction to their meaningless lives in effect so they can have the feeling like they actually accomplished something. MEANWHILE freedoms are being stripped. The very freedoms allowing to do this is being taken away from secret bills likes the TPP and the TTIP. No one is calling the Supreme Court to account for the things they do.
Because people only WANT to FEEL good. Pretty soon our economy will collapse. People will blame the government(Sorta our own fault cause no one stopped it.). Which will likely result into tyrannical communistic regime.
BUT HEY at least we took down that pesky flag hurting our feelings right?
