He does have a point though, maybe not in a multiverse theory sort of way but a point. According to Jewish philosophy (Jews are the original monotheists so their views should be taken into consideration) God is neither physical nor spiritual therefore God both exists and doesn't exist. God cannot exist in any form of our world while at the same time creation is proof of a creator (note that this could refer to a creative event and not necessarily a "being"). Sort of like how a painter could not be described in terms of pigments, nor a sculptor in terms of marble, or a programmer in terms of code, a creator and creation are fundamentally different despite being able to influence the other.
Now, I'm no black science man, but I'm pretty sure for there to be infinite possibilities within the universe, the universe would have to be infinite to begin with.
