He is somewhat correct, Anakin was concieved when Plagueis and Palpatine meditated for several months to shift the balance of the force towards the dark side, which every jedi felt in that moment, also in an attemp for the force to balance itself, Anakin was concieved. This is explained in the cannon book Darth Plagueis

Luke could have prevented so many deaths at this point, if he just joined his dad.
Vader was tricked by the emperor to think he killed his love. When Anakin find out he has a living son it all snapped and he realised the emperor lied. He wanted to take the emperor out with Luke.

That, and their inbreeding resulted in ******* craziness which started 3 civil wars that I know of. They ****** everything up, except for my boy Jaehaerys I, the Conciliator, who cemented Targaryen rule and was probably their only competent ruler aside from the short-lived Viserys I.
