3mbp/s... slow?
_slow?
SLOW?
Bitch, I'm on .7mbp/s with 4 other avid users in my house and it's ******* fine. Hell, it spiked to 1.2mbp/s one day and i felt like a ethiopan with a half full waterbottle.

You don't know slow.

Idiot that's megaBYTES per second, not megaBITS, there's aprox 8 bits in a byte.

Google internet speed test, it will probably be around 5-6 megabits

Are you sure you're not talking about 1.2 megabytes per second?

At 0.7 megabits per second, it would take 10 minutes to load this one page.

... You might be getting kbp/s and mbp/s mixed up. .7mb/s is still fairly moderate. I've almost NEVER gone above 1mbp/s and I play Planetside 2 in the middle of an Alert on Indar with almost no lag.

That's what i'm saying. Under 1 is pretty decent imo, so this guy with 3 should appreciate it more. I play WoW and I barely lag.

1 megabyte per second is 8 times faster than 1 megabit per second.

They're both spelled mb/s, so people get them confused a lot.

Except, megabites per second is spelled with a lowercase b and megaBYTEs is spelled with an capital B. (so megabits = Mb, and megabytes = MB ) Also, internet is almost never measured in MBp/s.

Except when people always spell it in lower case and could easily mean one or the other and everyone I have ever met uses megabytes.

I currently have 14 available with 3 others in the house, but damn, I remember when I was in high school (in Bulgaria, 5-6 years ago) and they were wiring the whole dorm (I was boarding) with optical cables and routers per, I think, 10 rooms... Anyway, turns out there`s not a lot of computers, so I get to use the full fledged power of the optical connection, or rather the router, since it only allowed me 40Mb/s. Oh, and I got a brilliant discount since the school had some contract with the ISP so it only cost me 12.00 BGN/month (around 6 USD)

That sounds pretty cool man. How is Bulgaria? I've considered travelling there, amongst other places once I can afford so.

And thanks for bringing me back to an old comment. My own post humored me again

For a vacation, it`s great. I`d recommend you got camping in the wild, best experience ever. I go camping at the beach and it`s amazing. If you don`t mind long hikes and going back for food every 3-4 days, It`s totally worth it.

Jobs are **** though, so if you`re looking for a fresh place to hang around for a year or two, I don`t recommend it. Though I must say it`s pretty cheap and you can get a 40Mb/s connection for around 10-15 euros. (for comparison my 14Mb/s costs 35 in NL)

you really should explain how he damaged your property and the situation, document anything you can bout it and take it to court.

next time he goes out, pour a small amount of acid on his GPU or motherboard, tell him maybe it was from playing the game too much.

Then slap him with a fish for being such a pissy brat
