The Red Dragon, and the boring crosses

To anyone who is confused between the history of St George and Y Ddraig Goch (The Red Dragon):
Both of these tales have nothing in relevance to eachother, and here is why!

"St George didn't smite the Welsh Dragon - he had smite another dragon, which isn't relevant to the Welsh Dragon.

The story of the Welsh (Red) Dragon was that many years ago it defended Wales against the White Dragon from invading Wales who carried plague and doom to the Welsh people, to which the King of Wales had to make a plan on how to stop the White Dragon from invading - he filled the lake at the bottom of Snowdon with mead, where both of the Dragons drunk all the mead and turned into stone which protected all of Wales from the White Dragon, which is why we celebrate and love the Red Dragon, whom is now our symbol of our nation.

St George was said to have killed a Plague-carrying dragon which terrorised the people of England, where they had to sacrifice their livestock to prevent the dragon from causing certain doom.
St George killed a dragon to protect the Empress's daughter - in reality, the dragon was said to actually be an escaped crocodile from Richard I in the River Stour."

personaly i always thought the dragon should be shrunk down and just put in the middle of the centre cross.

<==== like this, but withought the white. like, still have the centre of the cross be whole and just outline the dragon in black so it still stands out.

Seeing as all the other United Kingdom countries use the flags of their patron saints i'd assume if they were to add in a welsh flag it'd be with this flag, the flag of St David

there was an article on the BBC website recently about what Britain would have as a flag it Scotland left. My favourite suggestion was using the old flag of Wessex (has the red of england, wales and northern ireland) PLUS a ************* dragon. Pretty badass flag if you ask me

The whole "white cloud in the sky against the blue background inspired the Scottish flag" thing is fake.

There's never a blue sky in Scotland..
