So why should I listen to you? Why do the companies owe you anything? Sure, they advertise, but it's the mind of the individual who gives those advertisements power. They aren't forcing you to do anything. You, on the other hand, would have me go out and do something I don't want to, while ruining someone else's day, just to make a petty statement about how the media "runs your life."

I'm done ranting now, go back to enjoying/hating/being utterly apathetic about your life.

except they paid for the space to advertise, would it be ok for me to vandalize a persons house because I don't like the color?

Not to mention, you can ignore ads, but that would actually take some slight amount of effort.

Actually, re read the comic, but imagine the character as a paranoid schizophrenic.

"Coke a cola owns the world. They make advertisements to mock me."

I love this dude artwork

but the more I see his comic and understand his message, the more I hate this edgy faggot who think that he made a valid statement just because he draws a long ass comic with good art style.

Also, as much as Banksy creates a great graffiti, he still doing in in someone's property without permission. So he is still a huge piece of **** .

In case you don't know who Banksy is, he is an extremely famous graffiti artist. His works sell for thousands of dollars at auctions and i even think it is a crime to erase/cover up his street graffiti, but that might just be a rumor.

Here's a link to some of his works:

>pic is of on of my favorite of his works

>Advertisers can say what they like wherever they like with total impunity

That's called freedom of speech. I guess that's not important to him though.

No one can force you to feel a certain way about yourself. Your feelings are the product of your own mind. Fear is a choice. Therefore, the fear of inadequacy is also a choice. You can choose whether or not to let yourself be affected by advertisements. If you feel inadequate about your weight/looks/etc. this is because deep down, you were already unhappy with yourself. Take responsibility for your own feelings and stop blaming the world for your insecurity. Just because you don't agree with someone's opinion of a perfect whatever, it does not give you the right to silence them, no matter how many advertisers promote this idea of perfection. The beauty of a principle is that there are no conditionals. You either believe people are free to promote their product/business/etc. or you don't. The amount of advertising is irrelevant. You cannot be forced to feel a certain way, so no rights of yours are being infringed upon in any way, shape or form
