I hate when they give me $5 in ones, then a huge ass receipt then like 49cents and I gotta take like 5 minutes sorting the **** out

As a cashier, I make it my mission to give coins first, then bills, and finally a receipt once they look ready for it. It actually ends up being faster than just handing over a big, sloppy wad of paper and metal.

Or when they rap your coins in a little dollar present as if they forgot that change doesn't go in your wallet.

then where does it go? my change goes in my wallet

Unless you have a little zipper for it, you put your change in your pocket. You can't just throw wad of cash and coins in the pouch...

i dont put anything in my back pocket and yeah my wallet has a change pouch built into it, don't they all?
#299 to #298 - ryderjbudde (01/15/2014) [-]
No, no. I mean, if your wallet doesn't have a coin pouch, most people just put the change in their front pocket and put it in a container in their car or at home.

Most leather wallets do not have a place for coins.

oh, that sucks, i just open up my wallet and if i have to pay some weird number i can usually pay it all in full and not have to worry about getting any more change until i run out, that sucks, you would get too many coins without being able to do that

Yeah, but then you go to a coinstar after a few months and realize you have an extra thirty five bucks or so.
User avatar #302 to #301 - jacksipian ONLINE (01/15/2014) [-]
coinstar takes a lot of money too, its better to just spend a few bucks on your own change sorter and some coin rollers and go to the bank, where coinstar would give you 35, that would give you 50+ probably because of all the money coinstar takes away from you

I'm not a cashier, but I do returns, and when I give change back i give the change first, then the receipt and the cash together, is that bad? o.O

I wish they would give me the coins first rather than on top of the money so it doesn't slide right off.
User avatar #41 to #3 - huewut (01/14/2014) [-]
Why juggle? I just fold the receit so the money goes inside and put it in my wallet.. I usually sort it out later.
User avatar #87 to #41 - demcupcakes (01/14/2014) [-]
Some people like to sort as soon as they get it.

User avatar #37 to #3 - namnori (01/14/2014) [-]
They do it on purpose

Praise the cashiers that give you your paper money and change and receipt all separately.
User avatar #258 to #5 - hydraetis ONLINE (01/15/2014) [-]
Coins first, paper second. I have no idea how only 5% of cashiers have figured that out.
